A dry screeching noise is definetly NOT a good thing. Might want to pull your clutch cover off, pull the spark plugs out, and turn the motor over with a ratchet on the crankshaft nut. Start pulling the clutch basket off and see whether the noise is coming from the clutch or crank area. Your welcome to call me if you need help.

I think you are in deep doo doo my friend. Once you turn a Kehin carb into a alky carb there is no going back to gas as the dump tubes are usually drilled and cannot be replaced like they can on a Mikuni.

Might be legit BUT there are Hundreds of us on here that have never had any trouble with o rings or Cool heads. Plus they cool better than the stock head can. I think you would be money ahead to get a Cool head IMO.

I think your splitting hairs/dollars here and you dont need the shift pro "kit" to make the bikes shift smoothly as there are other mods to be done cheaper than that!

New OEM ones will work just fine. The Magnum and Boss are NOT the same as we have done some testing and the Magnums seem to hold up much better! Any Yamaha dealer should be able to order the hubs or you can order EVERYTHING from us and get it all at one place and sent out the same day with no waiting for a dealer to order it 2nd Tuesday of next week. :biggrin:

Was it like this before the build? Are you sure its jetting and not something else? What does the guy doing the porting say?? Always best to ask them as they should know how to set up the motor for their porting. Have you tried the air screws richer/leaner?
