  4. I personally have seen many many Boss baskets, intakes, pancake brgs , etc. and IMO the quality is not there. Thats why i sell/use the Magnum baskets as they have been tested and withstood everything we can throw at em. Seen too many of their intakes leak as well. Sucks you had to spend time on the rivets on the Barnett basket replacing them as the Magnum would of been lighter, stronger, and less worries for about the same amount of $$. That is dedication though so props! Prolly a good thing you did that as i have seen 2 of them come through the shop too and both had loose rivets.
  5. Dont know what exactly you need but we carry EVERYTHING for a Banshee and most other bikes!
  6. You need to ask Whomever is doing/did the porting as they should know better than most. Usually a 34-35mm range works well on those builds.
  7. It may work but i do NOT recommend it as Banshee cases are lined bored and sold as a matched set.
  8. Damn, i got a customer in now that needs one and i could of traded parts for it.... Oh well just my luck. Still have parts though for your project. : )
  9. http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=230 http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=230 Call when your ready to order!

  13. All the parts should be on our site so just get close and we will take care of it. Just dont like charging you $10 ups shipping on $4 worth of parts plus our time and credit card fees. We can ship Mail a bit cheaper too.
  14. Dave all you need to do is call and discuss this with me and i will gladly help you figure it out. ONe time you say the bottom end is cutting out, then its cutting out on top. etcc.. Did you try some new spark plug caps? Did you ever get pics of your full throttle plug chops? I promise you that bike will run and run hard if you listen to me! Give a call, you have both my #s.
  15. We carry all that on hand, most dealers will be like you need a what? + they will be like it takes 1-2 weeks to order them. Give us a ring.

  17. Thanks guys, hoping to meet up with you Ted at Iowa this year. THanks for the props..
  18. THanks guys, glad to be of service. Couldnt do it without you!
  19. You should try to get a bike with at least pipes cause they will cost you around the $500 mark to add later. I have a nice strong 2001 Banshee for $2600 in NE Kansas if interested. It has pipes, Cool head, pods, and timing plate. A very sound bike!
  20. Here's my thoughts, Anything over 90-95 hp range should prolly consider them. THey dont really add hp BUT they do free up some hp that is already in there by freeing up some side load resistance and wear and tear. About 1-2 HP, no its not alot as it is more of a realiability thing than anything else. With the stock Heli-cut gears when you rev up the motor and dump the clutch it really pulls the crank and transmission over very hard to the side. The straight cuts eliminate the side pull and turn it into forward momentum. Plus when you get to that point your looking for everything you can possibly do get more out of them.

  22. 165lb or below and +4 timing setup correctly i recommend Prem 93 octane. Anything higher or more timing etc. requires more octane. IMO THis is with a GOOD Snap On guage as i have seen many many guages read waaaayyyyy off from the Snap On guage.
  23. Yes sir about the 87 fuel! Amoco Ultimate is a good choice as they usually have their own hoses for each octane.
  24. I voted 165 cutoff for Prem. gas w/4 degrees timing. I have run 170 w/4 degrees timing BUT you have to have it jetted on the rich side, and you have to have GOOD Prem. fuel (out of a tank that has its own designated fuel hose , not a fuel station that has one hose does all three 87,89,93 etc. as you may get some of the 87 fuel that the last guy pumped out. Some other variables that come into play are squish band width/angle, dome shape, etc... but for the general answer 165 is cutoff.
  25. Good to see another happy F.A.S.T. customer! Glad it was worth the wait, holler if you need anything.
