  1. Better shocks on standard travel will be much nicer then long travel with mediocre shocks.
  2. I have to disagree with the ford having the most reliable trans. I worked in a Transmission shop/core warehouse before remodeling and their better then the dodge, but no where near as stout as the Allison.
  3. Don't go long travel unless you plan to use the better shocks.
  4. What does the spark look like? It should be making color with those jets. You are getting it wide open in 6th, right?
  5. ^ Exactley. This is all doable, but it takes qualified personnel with experience. The technology has been around for decades, and it's time to get it in to other applications. It can't just be some guy putting resin on weave and sending it out the door. There many folks doing this shit in motorsports successfully, and I've got no problem paying the right hands to make this happen.
  6. Photo of the ring around the electrode. If it's on pump gas or non oxygenated race gas, it should be a chocolate brown.
  7. FYI, there is a material on the market that will make Chromoloy obsolete in racing. I can not remember what it was called off the top of my head, but Moe Laub and Evan ( 358shee) may be kind enough to weigh in. I weighed a foot of it with equal sized chromoly and saw a little more then an ounce difference.
  8. My fireball LT arms are not ordinary.... And they weigh almost as little as the Race-tech Ti arms, so that's a start.
  9. That third one is stock cyls with a 2-1..... But I guess it could be confused with a cub to the dumbest of humans.
  10. Weld the crank and put fresh bearings and seals in the bottom end before doing any of that shit^.
  11. I pulled up that list of hardware someone made a few years ago, but no sizes for the front plastics are listed. Any one know the sizes?
  12. In racing carbon is typically intended to shatter in a crash. That is one of the properties that F1 guys use to their advantage for safety.
  13. As per the title of this thread.... Yes, big problem. It's communication/typing/grammar.
  14. F that. She could of got an abortion and went riding to. She will have to learn to deal with it.
  15. Yes, however they still make a good grunt right when you stab the throttle. Snipers, Shearers, CPI's, or Rockets. There is a dyno comparison in the Dyno section. The Serval is very similar to a cub, however they are cast with a bit more conservative port lay out to make the motor more friendly for riding other then drag racing.
  16. 421 serval. 80+ horses with a very rideable power. They were designed for the guys wanting power with out it being a drag motor. Cases will be fine and not need any major work as the 4mm crank will drop right in with out being trenched. The trans should be worked over while you're in there though. Do a pro mod, not an over ride. Upgrade the clutch with fresh components and a lock up as well. You could get by with really stiff springs, but it's no where near as nice to ride. Don't forget carbs, good pipes, reeds, and all the other odds and ends.
