  1. Little hints of that gold in the seat would look sweet on anodized parts here and there.
  2. One part at a time, man many dollars at a time, all in spare time that I do not have. All while trying to be different without totally reinventing the wheel.
  3. You're a little late on that. Who do you think I was referring to having parts machined by? Him and his students get the experience learning the ins and outs on machining Carbon Fiber with my material and it's a win win. Carbon race parts will do a stem for 270ish, so compared to Ti, it's money saved. He claims to have shifter carts pulling over 1.5 G's in turns on his stems for several seasons so it's worth a try.
  4. Pilot will have no effect at wide open. That's the main.
  5. Right on. I get that folks are just trying to say that they've built ten stock frames and wish they just did a full moly set up from the get go, instead of wasting time and money on a modded stocker. At this point I'm all in, and making calls. Just gonna have to keep the side work flowing to make up the difference. FYI, Whitbread builds race cars for a living.... So whether folks like it or not, that fucker can wipe his ass with just about anybody's fab skills here with the exception of just a handful of fellas.
  6. 64mm is 10mil stroker. Stock is 54mm.
  7. So far on very stout 4mil motors, the SLP's have proven to make a very early on curve like all the pro circuits, FMF's, etc. Yet at the same time they still make the same power that the bigger inframes like a CPI would. Just much earlier. The trade off is a pipe that signs off a bit earlier. If you're in trail or climbing hills in gravel pits, it's totally perfect. Hit up JD. His serval is on the SLP's.
  8. Old Baja bikes used to run those. Guess they thought it was helping the lower radiator get more air.
  9. 80+HP 4mil. Driveline springs. 3 light, 3 heavy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. 38's would be fine. If you want more snap, 35's. If you dedicate it to just drag racing, 39's would be premium.
  11. The bigger ones like the Fat bastard pipes were pretty nice.
  12. Any port specs? What other mods are done? What fuel? Are you fat or skinny? What is your planned riding to use this motor?
  13. What shops? As a core buyer, I beg to differ without some hard facts to show otherwise. If that were the case why would I see 10-12 ford grenades to every Allison? If what you say is legit, that would mean ford is selling at least 10 trucks to every GM. And we both know that ain't happening. Not trying to bicker, just sharing my actual experience from a warehouse with over 2,500 cores on the shelf and tens of thousands of parts from previously torn down cores. The Allison parts were like Unicorns up till about 5 years ago when the whole Bro diesel thing took off and kids were grenading them with over 500hp 6-700ft lbs at the tire.
