  1. 25 is lean. Be careful with the starting fluid.
  2. Never even seen a Roll Banshee. I've seen Doug Roll's old banshee, definitely not a full frame.
  3. Yes. That's why I said buy one of the cheap pieces of shit on the market these days. Buy it, strip it, ship it.
  4. Plenty of 64mm bore stock cylinders out there still. Gotta be patient, but you can totally find them unmolested.
  5. I'd imagine whoever machines you a set would need all of the above.
  6. Measure up what you got and maybe one of the machinists on here can turn you some.
  7. Definitely do the pro mod trans. You'll be pissed at your self the first time it fights you for a shift. It's so cheap and you've already got it apart.
  8. What's your definition of mostly drag? If you go to the dunes and park at the strip or hill all day or go to the track and chase the fastest time then I'd go Cub. If you just like to line up with buddies and blast across the open field and ride trails, then the serval is probably more suited to your riding. The wampus term just means they are done in a way to mimic stock cylinders for a sleeper look. Both the Cub and Serval are available in wampus.
  9. For a fella like you wanting to save a few bucks, call Driveline. They have a couple options. Or if you have the dough, a serval is a pretty killer motor.
  10. Not exactley. You can sleev and port or even buy a sleeve with a relatively different port layout all together. The problem with putting a big bore sleeves in stoccylinders is that they choke off the already small transfer ports. Then you are trying to fill a bigger bore with less air/fuel mixture flow. A "big bore" or aftermarket cylinder is typically the better option. There are quite a few different cylinders available now with a few companies offering different port layouts that accommodate different riding from Trails, Dunes , or Drag Racing. They typically have far better port layouts and larger transfers or even more then stock amount of ports. This allows far more ability for a cylinder to pump more air and fuel mixture which in turn makes more power. We are to an age where a lower port time cylinder can create almost the same kind of horse power as a high strung drag motor, but just a bit sooner in the RPM's.
  11. Try the 30's with the air screw at 2-2 1/2 turns out. Let some air at em.
  12. Better to be rich then lean. If you're not lugging the bike off idle and stay sort of in the throttle and keep the motor fed with the needle at slower speeds you could be ok.
  13. Thank you for the lead. I've not yet looked at anything from Gordon Composites, but will give it a shot. I was told 12 weeks on an inget and I'm quite a ways past that so it may be time to investigate alternatives.
  14. Ya, you're ok then. Find someone with AFR on their dyno and start tuning accordingly. Just shy of 70hp on a poop tune is not shabby. I'd bet once you get a few jetting changes in, it starts to come alive.
