  1. It was a 2/1 intake on a Serval? To be honest, if there wasn't a bigger bowl on that carb and larger fuel valve, you'd be hard pressed to feed a good set of cylinders like a Serval. I've set up a dozen or so 2/1 intakes and I just can't see that motor being happy on one 35mm.
  2. Same guys running Jaws Snowmobile performance in Canada now?
  3. If that's indeed the old Jaws crew, they are from the era of guys like Rudy Kurtz, Patriot racing, etc. They certainly had a good reputation but that's a long time ago. The work on them looks clean, more then likely a dune/drag set up looking at the pics. Might be a deal that's totally worth scooping up. How much are they asking?
  4. Wow... Make sure the motor isn't cooked. Compression test and definitely take a peek at the pump. Then verify the jets are adequate and it's not lean. Check for air leaks, does it idle high or slow to return to idle? It shouldn't be that hot.
  5. However, you may just have some very well worked stockers.
  6. Post pics with tapatalk or photo bucket. Quite a few after markets that look stock. Vitos, CP Industries has a Wampus cylinder, possibly Athena, etc...
  7. Where are you from? Plenty of folks with known results out there.
  8. I know I say crazy shit sometimes, and folks can choose to believe it or not. But the FACT is, people get a whole lot more compliant and honest when there is a pistol in their mouth.
  9. He's already gone. And this guy isn't getting shit from ECATV. They'll claim "His bike was almost done when it got stolen." Let's be real. That place was ran by a scumbag. A smart one at that. He had people gullible enough to hand over their shit, and money before it went missing.
  10. T5 for your motor for sure. Big Bore Shearers would not make much low end on that combo. You'd probably be hard pressed to even get them to rev.
  11. 358banshee did some a while back. I think there were quite a few T Rex's with flat tops. Not a very common thing, but it's been done.
  12. I'm still waiting for Tye to post more photos of his mom. MILF!
  13. I know it's not DM talk, but Larry at DFE whipped my Cheetah on a flow bench just to baseline a couple things, and you'd be surprised at how close the folks at CP actually got those oblong transfers inside to flow to the outside. Sort of similar casting.
  14. 27.5 pilot, needle on middle clip, 280 main will get ya close.
  15. Yes, when you cover it you're limiting air so it won't need extra fuel to start. But it needs extra fuel if you don't expect to ride around with your hand covering the carbs. Give it fuel, or you will be rebuilding it. Besides, it'll run way harder if it's got the right tune up.
  16. You should be at a minimum 27.5 Pilot, 2nd-3rd clip from bottom on Needle, and 280 Main. Remember a lack of fuel will burn these things down.
  17. Well... That's supposed to be two seperate jets. The fact that you're throwing a form of fuel at it, and that's what starts it, means you need a richer Pilot jet. Temps are down everywhere and that makes a motor need more fuel.
  18. I'm just trying to figure out why the guy removing lugs to make the others bite is telling me it's a nonsense thought that in some cases certain tires may bite harder if they have a smaller contact.....
  19. Always adjusted front and rear. Peps out back, and some baldwin did the shocks up front.
