  1. That K&N cleaner doubles as a really bitchin' degreaser as well.
  2. My 4 mil saw 2-3 hp over 3 runs consistantly.
  3. Hey, can't fault a fella for trying. I bumped it 6 years after a cold listing and ended up getting pretty lucky.
  4. They have a kit on the shelf at the auto parts store. Rinse them, spray them with the foam, rinse, dry, mist with the oil.
  5. ^ that. How big of a track? 1/2 mile ovals, go Shearers or CPI. The CPI will have a tad bit more grunt if you need it to come out of the turn harder. If you're running real short tracks or twisty TT stuff, try a set of SLP's or PT's. T5's are a little lazy for my taste.
  6. Uni clamp ons if you ride in a lot of dust.
  7. Find a blue one. Or perhaps have that hydro dipped blue.
  8. Yes they are supposed to help with side loading. They should be ran with TZ style (Cylindrical) bearings. Stock is 2.86, going to 2.68 is typically for guys needing more MPH on larger motor set ups.
  9. I bet Cam never buys another roll of paper towel again. Lol
  10. Check to see if it's wet clutch compatible. Most likely if it's for sport bikes it'll be just fine.
  11. Totally different machine now Claude. Très beau.
  12. The coolers are OK, but if you really want the assurance the motor isn't being knocked around you need to get a mobile job box. They are on wheels and have a handle for the delivery guys so they are a lot nicer about moving it. It costed me a little under $200 to go between Cali and Michigan. With your budget, I'd say get everything set up for a 4mil. Porting, domes, and the crank. Maybe some SLP's if you're really serious about the early power band. The Toomey's are a touch lazy to come on compared to other trail pipes. But I'd agree with Gusto on making sure the suspension is up to snuff first. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I'd say try throwing more pilot at it. Also, when starting the longer stroke stuff, make sure you are using the kicker to roll the crank toward TDC and then give it the swift kick. Do your best to avoid hitting it with the starting fluid.
