  1. Stand the bike up on the grab bar. Find the thinnest sawzall metal blade you can and just cut between the caps and frame from the underside.
  2. There is no comparison. Lol... But seriously, they are torquey but they were the earliest aftermarket cylinders for these things, so CC to CC the CP Industries cylinders make more power as they have decades of refinement off the shelf. Not really an apples to apples comparison, but the Superior Sleeve stuff was the it cylinder for quite some time.
  3. Yep. Also, try Un screwing the spark plug boots from the coil wires and cut the wires back about 1/2" and thread fresh boots back on. You've certainly ran through the range of jets that should definitely feed the motor what it needs, so I'd really start looking in to other issues.
  4. They are just a larger version of the stock carbs. Look in to flat slide Mikuni TM's or Keihin PWK's. The round slides will leave a bit to be desired.
  5. Get rid of the Ricky Stator and try it. They are notorious for causing electrical issues. One of the most common just happens to be the in ability to rev clean.
  6. Carl has said he is slowing down and taking care of family.
  7. Well, what about the T5's do you like and not like. What are you hoping to gain from a different pipe. That said, T5's feel lazy IMO.
  8. They're junk. If you wanna go bigger, look at PWK's from Keihin or even PJ's. If you're dead set on Mikuni's, look at their TM's (flat slides). The VM round slides leave a lot to be desired.
  9. Paging SheeRider11... OP, are you on FaceBook? If so, hit up Robert Pierce. He has done it.
  10. How big is the track? CPI if it's shorter, Shearers if it's 1/2mile
  11. A cub with 19CC domes should be much higher then that unless the exhaust port has been enlarged to the size of your fist. What's your elevation like?
  12. 421 from Driveline or Serval from Redline
  13. Just looked at pics on EBay. $3,000 and I pay shipping or come pick up?
  14. ^ Haha, true. What about all the high compression stock cylinder motors then? However, it makes sense to put them on a trail pig with a massive motor. Anything to keep these things a little safer is worth it.
  15. 15-20 years ago, this thing was cutting edge. It belongs in a 90's neon themed machine. Way cool for an old stock cylinder set up. I've still got my old 7mm big bore stockers and just can't seem to justify the cost to get them set up again.
  16. No shame in that. That's thinking like a pro when you send it out to be done by the experienced pro.
  17. Those are all I'll run on my ice bikes. There was a sketchy incident running 20" studded tires on a -2 swing arm that destroyed my boot and left my ankle pretty sore. From then on, it's gotta have a solid plate back there for me.
  18. Trinity was bought out by Dasa and Harry is now operating under McDermott Racing. Not sure on his contract, but he does have a website.
  19. If you do the Driveline set up, it will actually help in woods riding. It'll act similar to weighted flywheels like the GNCC guys run on two stroke bikes. The real bonus is getting to run much softer springs on the clutch.
  20. OEM is about all there is. I've only seen a custom shift arm on a drag bike and it was one off. The stock stuff should last a good while. If you need that much spring pressure, try a lock up and softer springs. They are far more ridable that way anyway.
