  1. Where about are you?? We actually ride from Weatherly and hit all the other places through the trails and powerlines. Are you near weatherly?
  2. I ride mostly in Hazleton area up the mountains, but also ride places like rausch creek, manchester, shamokin, and I venture down your way occasionally too. A friend of mine lives somewhat close to Bromley's and we ride right from his house through the train station and down the tracks to the different spots. I've never had my banshee there though, just my bike.
  3. Horsham PA here, no more than 15 minutes from lansdale, perkasie, and souderton. Fox Forma, are you in the BenSalem/southampton area?
  4. I've definately noticed what Loco said to be 100% true. I used to be the nice guy and I've recently changed my attitude towards women. They love the assholes, thats all I can say. Women- Fuck em................................................................................Fuck em all!
  5. The clutch is your best friend, learn how to use it. Once you learn how to modulate it correctly, you will never be behind him off the start.
  6. Where are you from? I've got a fairly clean mostly stock '87 with title that I'd let you have for less than that. Im in the Philly area btw.
  7. Believe it or not there are many 2 stroke motors out there without reed valves. I'm not quite sure how they work but I have seen a few of them. For example, check your weed-wacker. I'd be willing to bet it has no reed valves
  8. I did the first annual Unadilla GNCC last september on my yz250. It was a great time and a really cool place. The second one ever is this september, I believe the 23,24,25th. All you need is to be an AMA member and anyone can race it. Last year at Unadilla was the biggest GNCC event ever, and tv crews are there, all the factory teams are there, tons of vendors, etc. Id recommend it to everybody to go, even if only to watch. Last year the quads raced on saturday and bikes on sunday so I'd assume it will be the same this year. Give it a shot, it's definately worth it!
  9. Ellison, thats a killer looking banshee you got there. I have to say that you're bike is probably my most favorite bike on this site.
  10. A termite walks into the bar and asks "Is the bartender here?"
  11. A skeleton walks into the bar and asks the bartender for a beer and a mop
  12. the 4.8 was also an option
  13. Today was a great day in the Philly area. Me and about 8 of my buddies took a trip to Manchester. It was like 60 and sunny out, perfect for a middle of the winter ride. I was on my yz and there was 4 other bikes and 4 quads with us. Everyone had a great time except my one buddy who blew up his 98 cr250. I saw some other people out there today, but no banshees. Anyone from here out there?
  14. Are you guys talking about Little Sahara Oklahoma or Little Sahara Utah?
  15. I live right outside Philadelphia PA. I do a lot of riding in old coal strip mines in the poconos and sand/dirt riding in Jersey. Me and my buddies have always wanted to ride on real dunes, and now we may get the chance. We are all 24-25yrs old and have figured that this summer may be the best/only chance we get to do this trip. My question is:Where would the absolute best time be had? If you could recommend any one place to spend a week at, where would it be? Every young kid(at least from my area) dreams of going to glamis to ride, but is it really the best place to go? Please let me know where we should aim for.
  16. I agree on the tranny thing, but chevy's crap ifs is way more prone to breaking then anything on a dodge(besides transmission) Parts are just as cheap for 'em too, trust me I have one of each.
  17. Any of you guys involved in any of the online stock trading sites? I've been looking at e-trade, ameritrade, scottrade, etc. I was just wondering who's had any experiance with these and what you think of them. Also, if theres anything to look out for?
  18. let me reitterate: when I had my '98 ram 2500 I could fit '98 ford wheels on it but not '98 chevy wheels and vice versa. That it what my reply was based on.
  19. At Atco NJ 1/4mi track I ran 84mph with stock gearing/tires. I had T5's, k&n, jetted, boyeson rad valves. I've since added vito's superstock pistons, +4 degrees, and swapped out the rad valves for vf3's. I haven't gotten it down the track again though.
  20. ford and dodge are interchangeable, not chevy
  21. I'm not gonna get into this argument with ya, but just know that underpowering a speaker is not good for it. I wouldnt expect you to understand though, because you have a bass tube in your ride. Anybody with the slightest bit of knowledge knows that you will get a much much better sounding system out of a cheap/mediocre speaker and a good amp then the best speaker and a cheap amp. One of the loudest systems I put together was a 12w6 in a sealed box in a pickup truck and I only ran it off a 250watt amp. Thing to remember is that that Rockford power 250.1 actually put out a tested 980watts at 2ohm load at only 13.4 volts. It's all in the amp if you ask me
  22. The advice is in this thread is funny I'm not saying it isn't good advice, it's just that the "nut-job" is reading the same thing he is-and to me thats funny
  23. Underpowering them could definately blow them. By underpowering them you are forced to turn the gain on the amp all the way up(usually a cheap amp) and this will cause the amp to clip. Clipping will destroy the voice coil in no time, which is blowing the speakers.
  24. got any pics?? I got a buddy who is interested
