Slammin Full Bore

Hi All. My bike has been sitting for two years up on two wheels. I know big mistake. The carbs shot fuel out of the overflow when I turned the gas on. do I need to rebuild these? If so, what do I need to rebuild it.They are stock carbs but jetted. Just want to make sure I buy all the right stuff online today. Thanks a bunch! -Ryan

CAn you guys link me to any trusted vendors who sell pod filters for the banshees stock carbs. OR if I do need aftermarket carbs, which would you recommend for a duner who is planning on uprading his bike slowly. Thanks!

Bump. I just stripped everything but carbs and motor off of my Shee. Made me want pods. Just looks cleaner and seems like less of a hassle, but I would be interested to know anyone elses take. I mainly ride sand and desert trails, so water doesnt seem to be an issue for me.

my favorite are the posts by that sound like they are a journal entry from a holocaust victim or a world war 2 survivor. Today is day 25 in Axis occupied france. i just put a set of fattys and turbinecores on my 05 banshee, i also put in a K&N. I was told by a couple friends with the same set up to put in the 280 mains. I did that. Everyone told me i would need to mess with the airscrew, because they all said my bike wouldnt start. Well it started right up and idles fine, i rode it up and down the street and it seemed ok. Do i desperately need to fiddle with the airscrew. Or can it wait till after i go riding tomorrow. I just dont want to lose alot of performance because of it. Thanks guys.

i feel bad for all of these people getting ripped, but they should have checked his feedback, i mean come on 108 negative. If they read just one of those comments thtey would have never bid. i have a buddy who is a broker, he told me scottrade is the way to go. Im not to into the market, but im pissed i passed up an opportunity to buy google for 150 a share. I didnt believe my friend, and now its trading for 420, go figure eh?

some of you may know me from these boards a few months back. I finally got my banshee. Its an 05 with blue plastics. I also got an 05 blaster for my girlfriend and a trailer. Im picking them up tomorrow, i will post pics. Long live the two strokes!!!!!!!!!

im new to the whole streetbike scene, ive ridden dirtbikes for a long time, and i know they are really nothing like riding a burner. I am really thinking about getting something in the 600 class, maybe a cbr, or gsx-r, im looking to spend around 4 to 5 thousand and i want to finance used from a dealer. Do they require full coverage for that amount financed usually. What year bike do you think i can get for that price, and how much do you think my monthly will be. Reason is right now im working in frazier park which is 50 miles from my house. Im figuring to be spending 400 dollars a month in gas in my truck. If i finance a bike, with liability, it will be much cheaper. What is the estimated gas mileage i will get with a bike like this. Sorry for the run on paragraph, i just though of alot of questions as i was going. Thanks for the help guys ryan

Laughing my ass off thats so true, if they had an option to ride in the box with the part the probably would, locked and loaded and everything . I can see it now, walking through the airport yelling "REMAIN CALM PEOPLE, PLEASE STEP AWAY FROM THE KILL SWITCH!!!!!"
