  1. Should i go just 5mm Long Rod or should i go 5mm Long Rod 4mm Stroker ? which is better & why ?
  2. thanks for the info ! sorry i meant i'm leaning twards a 5mill long rod so i will need 795 series for them. the kit i'm looking at does come with 795 series so i'm good to go.
  3. hey this may be a stupid question but do you really need 795 series pistons for a stroker crank ? or could you just get a spacer plate & use regular wiseco pistons with a stroker crank ? and the only reason i ask is because i found out the other day when i split the cases that i need a new crank... so heavely leaning twards a 4mill stroker & port job.
  4. I think he means something like the "Turbo head" from Trinity, where they cut groves into the domes... ??? thats what i would take a guess at, duno if they make a difference or not.
  5. hey, have a quick question here, my cylinders were bored out to 66mm to save them because of huge score in one cylinder, i was orignally at 64.50mm and was running 310 mains with 30 pilots do u think i should jump up 1 or 2 main sizes for 66mm ? my mods are in my signature.

  7. hey just wondering what you guys think about one of my cylinders, i inside micrometer'd it where it is caved in and it measures 64.85mm, the rest of the bore is 64.50mm. just wondering if yas think it might be able to be bored out, & the only worry i would have is that where it caved in is it going to be a weak spot in the sleeve ?
  8. was also looking into the 4mil Cub i pretty much only do wide open old loggin roads/dirt roads/open gravel pits ?

  10. if the clutch is so hard to pull in under power wouldn't a hydraulic clutch set up be much needed help ?
  11. just out of curiosity did you check the 2 wires pluged into ur coil i had almost the same thing happen to me ... was running down a straight strech ... and it just shut-off like instantly no bang or anything... one of the coil wires vibrated loose. didn't look like it was off cause it was still on by the little rubber boot. i duno just wondering thats all. but its very easy to pull the head off and check just to be sure. :beer:
  12. your jetting sounds right ... but arn't Fatties suppost to "even" out the powerband ? maybe thats why it feels flat (Even) across the powerband.

  14. i actually blew apart one of my piston's & caved in one of my front transfers so .. goin Cub ! like the 4+ kit. get everything u need with no hassle just waiting for it lol
  15. yeah i think ur carbs are clean enough haha but when ur compression is down to 95 psi ... it will run but u'll kick & kick & kick etc.. until u get it to start u might not even get it started i had mine running on 90 psi but i had to get a spray bottle & hold the throttle wide open & squirt fuel down em then it would start. but ur compression is way down & thats probley why its only running on 1 cylinder, but also change ur plug caps there only 4$ each try that & then get a spray bottle but it's definatly time for a rebuild.
  16. adjust yout shifter up a few teeth until they get broke in.
  17. yeah i duno, i doubt that noise is an exhaust O-ring cause i replaced mine a month ago or so & all it did was leak oil down the front of the cylinders, i'd say time for a rebuild for sure snaped ring or broken skirt, but we won't know until he pulls the head of now will we Eh ! doesn't sound nice tho :yucky:

  21. i ride trails too & different other stuff like gravel pits & shit and i run just plain ol Razr's right now, probley going for a set of Razr 2's next time (not sure yet), but i have a buddie that runs the Holeshot HD's & he loves them. i've also been lookin at the new Holeshot GNCC's to cause i tired the I-Razr's & they hooked up aswome for the frist run but after that they already started to wear, probley only took me 1 month to wear them out. Lots of choices out there but i'd say go with Razr 2's they look sweet.

  24. i don't seem to have a problem with my k&n clamp on's in the mid range, they actually worked much better everywhere in the power band... & i also have Pro-Circuits but with 28 Flat slides. i have it jetted at 310/30 & air screw tured out 1.5 turns, i'm at sea level. http://www.kimpex.com/catalog.php?action=s...43&section=
