personely i hated reed spacers... i tried them both on the front side of the reeds (pulling the reeds back 1/2", & on the back side of the reed pulling my carbs back 1/2" & it really changed the power band. i do have to admit they did give me a bit more bottom end on the front side of the reeds but i'd never put them on again ... i love the way mine works with Port-job, Pro Circuit pipes, FMF Ram Valve Reeds, head shaved .030", UNI filter, NGK Iridium plugs (best plug ever, ran them all summer & still have them in). but it all comes back to how u like them there only cheep, i got mine of my cousin for a trade for a few other parts but ... i think there only cheep. so i'd say try them see if u like them i know i didn't.

ya man i had the same problem and the slides of the carbs ... if there like a dark color like carbon color ... clean them with 1000-1500 grit sand paper untill there like a "gold" color (well mine were anyways) that fixed all my problems !

did anyone ever have to strengthen their frame ? for like racing or freestyle ? the reason i ask is because i have 2 hair-line cracks at each side of the rear shock cross-member. i'v came up short twice before but have never noticed them untill now.i'm gona weld them but did anyone ever put suports in & where.

the mods i have are shaved head .030", intakes are cut, FMF Ram valve reeds & cages, UNI filter, air box lid cut inside, & Pro Circuit pipes. do u mean what average temp am i jetting it to right now ? or what temp the bike is running at ? i'll give ya both temp around here in from spring to fall is .. i'm gona say 15, 20 degrees C. at running tempature when run for 1/2 hr or so is 170 degrees F.

gona keep the banshee going this winter & plow out my little track i have in the back yard with the tractor, just wondering how rich to go with the jetting ? average temp is about i'm gona say (-5 to -15 give or take a few degrees) i'm running 40 Pilots and 280 Mains right now with stock carbs.

Hey guy i'm just wondering if anyone tried to upgrade to YFZ 450 Front Shocks before cause i just snaped one of my front shocks off a 40' gap in my back yard & wana get er goin again but i don't wana keep on snaping shitty stock shocks. i have a 99 Banshee i know there all the same for shocks but just wana know if i had to make any Mods for YFZ 450 Front Shocks !?
