ya i'm actually going to do a rebuild and bore it out probley only 1 over and ppl r telling to get Wiseco kit ... i would but if POR-X is as good as they say they are and reliable as stock if not more reliable then hell thats what i want i'd sacrifice the extra few HP for that. cause i really don't wana do another rebuild every year or every 2 years even .. i will if i have to but if i don't have to i won't. my 99 is on stock bore and only had a ring job 3 years ago and it had 115-120lb's a side before the summer last year, but i feel bad them pistons are gona let lose anytime now so Are the POR-X pistons really more reliable ?

ya point made exactly ... there already clean & efficient and produce more power thats proven. I have a buddie that runs one of them new Honda CRF250's and i bet u mine runs just as clean and just as efficient as his, and i can take him no probley in a drag and open road runs n/p and mines just as reliable as his and is MUCH more cheeper and easier to fix and tune. but can u really imigine if they put that technolgy into a 2-stroke ??? Bombardier is keeping it alive & they are putting a lot of time & reserch into 2-stroke improvment ! but thats in sleds. like here in Canada i don't think 2-stroke engines will ever be Outlawed because we only have 32 million ppl in ALL of Canada where as California has that if not more in one little state. I don't think i'll ever see the day when they outlaw 2-stroke anywhere in Canada. i wouldn't be surprized if yamaha actually did come out with another 2-stroke sometime in the near future. they know the run the Banshee had, 19 years of aswome sales (i bet they did better then they expected it to and went longer to) so i duno i like to keep optimistic but i wouldn't get my hopes all up. still i'll always own my banshee & never let er go

Get ur ass off ur couch & get working. don't be turning down business because before ya know it no one will call u & u won't have any business. then u'll be complaining about no business. just go see whats there for storage & then when ya come back take them back with ya if needed. or like a few others said already flip burgers or something to build a little shed to store them FFS. i work at Canadian Tire (Auto Parts Desk) for 4 years ... finishing up school this april & last summer i worked at Michelin Tire Full time for a Co-op program threw my Electro Mechanical Technician program (EMT) for on the job training (paid) AND worked at Canadian Tire 3 nights a week ... & saturday 8-5 ... now mind u i'll be out of Canadian Tire as quick as i can cause i hate workin for mininum wadge and i'll have a real job hopefully this spring but get ur fuckin ass in gear & get to work. ps. don't leave ur banshees behind

this fall me & buddie were out at a gravel pit we all ride at (6 mile brook) and down back away from the face of the hill climb we were down back in the sand pit (about as big as 2 foot ball fields) ... theres a mound of sand in the middle so we made a nice 30' table top out of it... now there was about i duno, say about 10-15 ppl riding around on every different kind of bike me of couse having the banshee, my buddie had his KX125 pretty good on it but stupid as a stump when ya try to tell him something ... so we all had an agreement that on the back side u'd take it easy around there, where everone was going back around to line up the jump ... kinda like in an oval so right after u came off the jump and u were going to hit it again u'd trun to the left & go back down the side. ok half of us were out rippin around and i was out hittin the jump my buddie was just out rippin around to (theres a few other hills to play around on to at the ends & sides) and i hit the jump a few times and the one time i didn't look behind me (AS I ALWAYS DO BUT THIS TIME I DIDN'T & DON'T ASK WHY JUST TO CONFIDENT) my buddie came from One End Right To The Other On His Back Wheel .. he said he was in 4th just set er down from a wheelie on the inside of me & i was just turing to line up the jump again and then all i remeber is flying off the bike & landing ... he said he didn't even have time to say FUCK ... & BOOM right into the side of me .. T-BONE'D ME .... doing about 80kmh ... we landed about 40' from the bikes. his bike sit perfectly right into where it cruched my nerf-bar & I'M DAM LUCKY I HAD THEM or else i'm sure i wouldn't we walkin around with my left leg casue i would have one. thats pretty much the only thing that got damaged except for a minor ding in my PC pipe on the left side but other then that nohtin but he only had 6 spokes left in his rim. he broke his elbow & still (4 months later) can't extend his arm out fully from the elbow yet he had 3 surguries and all i had was a stiff shoulder & elbow,& chunk of skin out of my leg. the wierd thing is 15 minutes before it happend i broke a bolt in my nerf-bar on my left side & went back to the truck and was just gona take them off but i decided i was still gona be jumpin so i put another bolt in it and glad i did. i know one thing tho them nerf-bars are some strong u wouldn't think it but man they withstood a PILE of pressure that day and mangled one but still.

i've had mine cut since i bought it & i love it, sure ya get a lot dirty'er but hell ya that fun. but i'd say buy an already cut front fender (ebay or someone on the HQ here might have an extra) and see if u like it if u don't ... at least ya didn't cut the fenders u like all to shit eh just my opinion

not saying i like them because a banshee is UNIQUE !! but different people like different things i guess & i supose it does look different... but i'd never give up the look a a True SCREAMER !!!
