carb caps are only hand tight,checked and cleaned throttle cable is moving free,it ran great then i washed it and the throttle hung up again,i think water is getting into the carbs and making the slides stick,i let it sit for the night rode it the next and it great.

ya pretty wet out that day and cold,maybe theres water getting into the carbs.

most of the time is in real wet riding,i heard that an air leak could make it rev high so i was thinking that maybe at a high rpm it was sucking in air.

most of the time i have to rev it up to get it to stick.

still have the stock carbs.

having problems with a sticking throttle,i have a twist grip,tors is removed,i have tried alot of things to fix the problem,lube the cable,cleaned the carbs,smoothed the slides,the caps are not to tight,sinked the carbs,i need some help,i wanted to know if an air leak could make it rive that high,thanks.

i got the toomey t6's and there grate,i have some mods and the pipes still run hard.

i thought the slides could only go in one way.

i got the carbs sycned this week,they were out of sync more than i thought,how much of a difference will i notice when i ride it,thanks.

well iam going to give my stock carbs one more chance and if i cant get them to stop sticking i will be picking a 2-n-1 set up for sure,ever since i put on a twist throttle it has been a problem.

if i picked one of these up what would the jetting be like for my mods,or how could i find the right jetting,i ride mostly sea leval.

i run the holeshot hd's,they held up pretty good i will probaly run them again but i will move up to the 22's.
