  1. I bought some 6 paddle haulers from Bansheebeefm2m. Nice to deal with. Gave me a good deal. Took a while to ship, but no biggy. Would deal with again.
  2. Dont mean to be grave diggin, but I was looking for 10x6 wheels and these came up. Still have em?
  3. Probably because the rear grab bar looks funky.
  4. Damn search bar being right beside status.

    paddles

Yes they do suck. Im not saying there are no forces, and I prefer to have my paddles aligned. But when my paddles are sitting on the ground, in between paddles, the tire is not sitting only on the space between the paddles, but also the 2 adjacent paddles. And thats on pavement, sand is a lot softer than pavement. You are never going to be pulling on one paddle on one tire and absolutely none on the other. Unless, like I said, you had very few paddles for the diameter of your tire. Right now I am running 10 paddle extremes on a 20" tire. The carcass of the tire hardly even touches pavement, so you are definitely not going to be pulling on one paddle at a time on those. But anyways, this is just nitpicking. I prefer to have my paddles aligned, it rides smoother on pavement and it looks better.

    paddles

You are not going to have only one paddle in the sand unless you have like 4 paddles. If they are perfectly off, there might be one paddle in on one side, and 2 paddles slightly in on the other side. Now there was absolutely no science or experimentation in that previous statement, but my point being you arent going to be paddling on one side then the other. Maybe to a certain extent, but not just gripping on one side then the other. Also, you are not necessarily set up for life after you align those paddles. My dads z400 spins the rims in the paddles all the time. The majority of the time they are perfectly off. The only thing we have noticed is its annoying on pavement. They are sand geckos though.
  8. I am planning on getting +2s and shocks since I go to the dunes and want to be wider there, then getting some 5" 4+1 front wheels to suck the front wheels back in for trail riding. That way you are only an inch wider per side and you get the positive effects of a longer arm. Then leave the back stock.
  9. I'll start off. 300? Don't have any drag parts to trade. Nevermind, I see your price now. Unless you will take 300. How much to you estimate the shipping to be? I bet it will kill the deal.
  10. Just finger tighten the ball joints until you are happy with how they are adjusted, then tighten to spec. If they are just finger tightened, they will still come back apart, and be close enough to make adjustments.
  11. If you wait for them to get really sloppy they might fail. A heim side loaded like that cant have too much play before the ball can just fall out.
  12. Wide rear with stock front? Gonna run wide offset wheels? I have offset wheels for the dunes right now (2+4) and I hate them if it is rough, beats the crap out of my arms with the horrible scrub radius. Looks sweet. I have been trying to convince my girlfriend she needs a quad. Don't think she could handle a banshee though.
  13. Yeah cables are surprisingly easy to cut. I cut through an old cable bike lock with some really dull dikes. Took me less than a minute. It was a fairly small cable, but when you cut a few strands at a time, it doesn't matter how large the cable is. I can imagine how quick it would be with some good cutters.
  14. My dad used to keep the bikes at his business by the main garage. People that drove by the business could see his shiny new Z400 sitting there. It got stolen at night with everything locked up, they peeled back the siding on the building. They took the Z400, and two drills. They had their sights set on that 4-wheeler, and decided to root through the two trucks sitting there while they were inside. Both trucks had the keys in them too. It would not have been a bad idea to have the 4-wheeler locked up in that garage. Luckily he had insurance on it. The crime rate here is not that high either. Now they are at home in the garage, but not locked up. We have an alarm system though. I'm going to be moving away from home soon, and I am going to leave it there until I get a garage.

    suspension re fab

That crack has been a long time coming. Looks like it had a fatigue crack going, and it finally got far enough that it failed.
