Unlike you....I don't cry and whine and talk tough via PMs. I'll do it right here. Everyone here can see by your little rants and ravings that you're just like a little kid who just found out there's no Santa Claus. You were done before you got started....haven't you noticed everyone else says you're full of shit too? YOU are the one running your mouth in all 3 PMs you sent me. YOU are the one "Calling me out" in the PMs. Get on your skateboard or Huffy and start peddling your sorry ass to MI...since youre such a tough guy. As I said before, I'm not pissed or mad....your stupidity and ignorance are quite entertaining....dickrider4life... Normally, I wouldn't get into these childish little debates...but If you're going to run your mouth and threaten me....yeah, I'm going to respond. So STFU little faggot.....

I'd look into a dunable override....they seem to be holding up quite well, and are MUCH more forgiving than standard overrides.... I'm thinking after today...my case is cemented for an override....huh Rog?

Hmm...let's see. This is just one of the good PMs you've left...calling me out... "ouch you got me.. if you want to do something about it then step the fuck up.. if not then shut you fucking mouth.. this is the last time im gong to talk to you so get over it.. A.you started the shit talking B. you dont know me and what my life is and C. you never proved me wrong, you just get mad and talk shit.. im sick of talking and it seems to be what you are all about.. ALL TALK!! i will wipe my ass with your redneck broke ass pos bike.. anytime fucker.. LMAO your such a rookie" Does somebody need to call your parents and tell them you're being bad again? Mabye the need to ground you... EVERYONE on here disagrees with you. You are Wrong. Period. Redneck broke POS bike??? A rookie runs their mouth on a public forum...talks tough in PMs.... What...are you begging me for an ass whipping? From my bike or from me? You're 15 year old ass sure isn't worth driving to CA for...to prove you wrong yet again. So...ask Mom and Dad if they wanna go on a field trip to Michigan, pick up a few kiddie meals on the way....and I'll hand it to you either way. B....I do know you and how your life is. It sucks and is pathetic overall...but from your view everything is great....and that's all that matters in your own little world. Have Duncan sponser you and pay for your travel arrangements out to MI....or maybe you can market a few boost bottle to help pay for the trip....I'd try to pedal them somewhere else though...obviously they're a no sell here.... You started the tough talk.....and I can finish it for you. Better hurry up, though...I think school starts again soon...mention it to your parents as they're walking you to class. By the way keyboard tough guy....I'm not mad. I'm actually quite entertained....jackasses like you always make for a good laugh, for everyone reading this.... At least you have entertainment value going for you....nice one...

Be careful... DRI4life might start typing you threatening PMs too...instead of being a man and saying what he has to say on a public forum.... Face it dipshit, you're just flat out wrong. You said in your PM (in between the sobs) I blew what you said out of proportion...well, if calling you out on your bullshit is blowing it out of proportion...then....yep....I blew it out sky high. Go ahead and talk tough on this forum some more, or better yet hide behind PMs and threaten me.... That just proves what a dickbag you are. There...I said it...and I"m not hiding. Just like I said in the PM back to you....take your little dick, stick it in one end of that boost bottle and the other end up your ass....
-
You forgot a few things... Throw in some 2HP stickers, an XXL FAST Tshirt...And....uh...a way to pay for it all... :yelrotflmao: With some of the pricing Jeff has given me...I don't know how he stays in business sometimes. If you're driving through Holton, KS one day and you see a big guy on the side of the road holding a sign that says " Will work for FBT (fat boy Treats)" Please pick him up....and give him a warm and caring home....
-
The big price differences really aren't in the cub itself, it's in the crank...once you go over 4mil, the crank goes up big time, and you have to trench cases as you know. Honestly...get the biggest you can afford....

PM replied.... I did find a use for that boost bottle after all last night.... I smoked my dinner with it....and I see your point of view now.... In My Opinion.....

So...you're talking about boost ports? Yep, nothing new... I'm sure Loren does 'em well...others do it better. If you would have actually read my post, I said I'm looking at a 4 poke for TRAILS and screwing around. I have the perfect dune bike, and it's a banshee. Let me get this straight. You have a 115HP Cheetah. Stock Swingarm...and long travel suspension, and you think for one second it'll destroy most drag bikes? If you would have stopped before that post...I might have gave you some credit...but... Sorry...that just proves you don't know shit right there, period...when it comes to drag racing. You're better off trying to sell me on a boost bottle. You do realize that a drag frame and motor (usually in the 260 or 280 lb mark) lowered to shit. stiff or NO suspension (Marivn Shaws or drag struts) override tranny...lockup clutch.... C'mon and bring that cheetah over here. I'd bet a 85HP drag banshee would hand that thing it's ass...all day long on the drag strip...period. There is no question about it... You may or may not know a thing about MX banshees, etc. But your statement about that cheetah and the way it's setup proves to me you don't know shit about drag racing...period. I'd love to see a 115HP banshee on a stock swingarm even think about coming out of the hole ...period. Sand, Pavement...ANY surface. I think I'll call Duncan tomorrow and get their take on that....should be interesting. We'll see what their boost bottled 115HP Cheetah motor does on a stock swinger and long travel shocks....

At about 2 bucks a plug, I'd get 3 sets to make it easy on yourself.... Glad to hear it...have fun!

I'm going to stir the pot now...since you mentioned e2s... Here's my take on the sites I go to...and I just started going to e2s... e2s is like high school..a lot of young guys who don't know shit, ask dumb beginner questions, but...that's fine. We all started somewhere. There are a few good teachers there to help. HQ is like college. A lot more knowledgeable people. This is where I like it. Not clicky...nice people, good times. Planet Sand is like Pros. Just about every top builder is there. But, I'd say 90% of them are drag racers...hill shooters, etc. Hard Core. But...if you spend any time on there, you'll have to agree..there are clicks that run that board. Some nice folks as well...but, I'm not ready to build a 3 second sand drag bike.... To be 100% honest, I'm no longer interested in a midrange banshee motor. If I was, I would've save a TON of money and gotten my stock cylinders ported.... I built a cub to be fast at the strip...and fast in the dunes. I...like many, will never have 20 to 30 grand to make a sand drag rocket. Ok..unless I'm holding the winning lottery ticket. But...I wanted a good dune and drag bike, that could beat a lot, but...in no way will hang with the big boys. I'm talking wheelie bars, alcohol, Nitrous....drag frames, the like. I've got that bike now, I'm only missing a dunable override and lockup clutch...and this bike will be done. If I wanted midrange, I'd get a 4 stroke...which, I will for trails and playing at some point. Dont forget...I'm in MI. And over here...you have A&S, Grand River, RDZ and a few others. I can't say I see too many Duncan banshees over here.... I would have to disagree with the porting statement. Plenty of people around here and elsewhere do fantastic jobs....and have been doing it for just as long if not longer... Big Cheez...sorry we crapped all over your thread....not sure how this turned into this...but, it is what it is.... Guilty as charged... :baseball_bat:

That's funny...echo...echo...I'm surprised my slow ass internet connection at work was actually able to post that before you...bansh...

The boss that you drilled and tapped might have to be ground down a little, like 1/8 inch or so. I know on mine...I had to use a scotchbrite pad and die grinder to grind that surface flat...and take a little off to get the idle screws to actually hit the slide. Loosen the lock nut all the way...and remove the air filter. Turn the screw in...to make sure it's actually raising the slide...look in the back of the carb bodies to verify...

Any special reason you're getting Pro-X and not Wiseco Prolites? Try www.moto-man.com Or http://www.rivamotorsports.com/ For some reason, it's stuck in my head they carry Pro X...not sure though...

Duncan racing doens't impress me much with their Banshee Products...so, if that's your lifeline of beliefs....so be it. If they are the only ones you'll take advice from...you haven't talked to the other right ones...then. I'm not dissing Duncan or saying in the least they are no good. They've been around for a long time (and used to build a kick ass 250R setup back in the day...still might. Didn't the legendary Gary Denton ride for them for a while?)...but, L&L's banshee stuff doesn't impress me....sorry...that's just my opinion. I take exception to the "uninformed" people remark...only because I've had one, tried it...and no matter what tuning I did...it didn't do squat. Obviously I won't use one on my cub, either...but, last year on my stock motor, T5's stock carb bike, it didn't do squat either. I'd say a pod filter'd T5'd bike is your average banshee...wouldn't you? If it didn't do a thing for that....it does me no good. However....to end this nicely...if it works for you...so be it..that's all that matters. Your money, your time, your bike.... We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one...and move on. Deal??
-
Keep in mind, though...the pilot jet and air screw only effect idle to 1/8 throttle, then needle...then main. Pilots and air screws are pretty easy....it's the needle clip and main jet mixing together that can be tricky....
-
No...I can sufficiently explain it doesn't do jack shit.... I had one...it didn't do shit, I can tune my own bike...and I got rid of the paper weight. Changing your spark plugs and keeping your air filter clean will result in better gains...and neither of those will rip your intake boots. I know exactly how it "Claims to work"...I've read the same advertisements as you, you just believed them...I tested it...and they are false. Instead of getting in a pointless pissing match with you...I'll just challenge you instead, if you're up to it. Call any 5 big name builders ( I can name plenty if you can't) and get their opinion on them. Builders other than Moose or others that actually make the bottle...I'm talking tried and true...non-partial builders. I'm pretty sure with all the thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours they spend on R&D from everything like port timing to spark plugs, they'd be the first on the list of those saying they're a good thing if they actually did a thing... They're not. So...does that mean any of the big builders don't know how to tune their bikes either??? Maybe since you do...you could call or write them to give them a hand....I'm sure once they pick the phone back up from laughing/dropping it...they'll be happy to talk to you....
-
Yeah....ok. That must be you smacking your head in your sig....then, I could see it working...not. Explain how it works better... All that tube does is help equalize pressure..the stock tube can more than handle that....
-
i may be getting scammed on ebay for a banshee head.
dajogejr replied to csrmel's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Just make sure when you update your sig, it says "Stolen from Ebay Cool Head" :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: Good for you...congrats! -
Are the TORS still on or removed? If on, you adjust the idle using the large knurled knobs on top of the TORS units. Turn them in to raise the idle... If they're removed, you should have the brass screws on the sides of the carbs. Loosen the locknut and turn them in evenly till it idles. Remember, set the idle when the bike is warm. Once it's warm, turn the air screw in all the way, out .5 turns. Turn it out .5 turns at a time until you get your highest idle...and they're set. You have to wait 20 seconds after you adjust them for the setting to take effect. If you get more than 2.0 to 2.5 turns out, put a bigger pilot in (27.5 is next)....

D'oh...and so they are...sorry bout that. 180 to 195 or so will be fine....as said, race gas for sure!
-
Good to hear...I just made a gearing change myself, and will be starting in 1st gear tomorrow....I got a feeling I'll be hitting N a few times myself...

It's a good idea to get the crank welded regardless....even if you left the motor stock. Howerver, if you don't want to get into that right now...personally, get the 21cc domes. And...you probably would have to run straight race gas with 19cc domes, as well. Ducman...that's a good point. You have to keep an ear on your motor, AND an eye on your plugs!!
-
It's shit.... It's not as big of a deal in a 4 stroke because premix isn't involved. First you have to figure out how much octane you need. Then...you have to subtract the amount of gas from the booster you're going to add to get a consisten premix ratio... And...it doesn't really raise the octane a whole helluva lot. I think it's easier and safer to use a 50/50 mix of race and pump gas than to use booster...

What's your compression currently at again? Sorry...tonz of threads today. One way to find out...try it...and listen carefully to your motor. If it sounds like someone put steel ball bearings in your motor...back it off. You need to make sure you're jetted correctly, first....
