  1. Hell...I thought they went out of business. After calling them one time and having them treat me like shit...I will never deal with them. I have a Honda sprocket hub exactly for the reason you are looking at Tyler. I can go down to 35 or 36 tooth if I want, but of course I'm limited in the mid 40s range. I'll never do biz with them directly....
  2. And how much is that Robinson Billet Trans for the boys and girls tuned in?
  3. Yeah smart guy? I know e=mc squared. That's what Gary Ed Mach used to teach us on Kidbits...Saturday morning....(I think it's only a Michigan thing..) Anyone from this area grew up on this show.
  4. Fair enough....I'm one of the biggest smart asses and sarcastic pricks on here.... Just gotta realize, you're new here and a lot of us have known each other for years.... Point well taken, sorry for the gruff...
  5. I ain't sellin' shit....LOL. I'm sure they have countless dyno runs but are still working on it. No one got it perfect the first time... I think it's an interesting project for sure...and am looking forward to the outcome. Remember, different setups like different parts. Maybe Kennedy's porting likes a big single carb as opposed to a smaller one or a set of them. Maybe this pipe likes a larger single carb...who knows. They got a dyno...a good starting point. But I'll never own a trail/duner banshee...I'll have my drag bike and if I get another it'll be a big 4X4 with racks and Cadillac comfort!
  6. Yeah, like the cargo ramp out of a Cargo Plane, while it's in the air.....
  7. You'll also need the cylinders ported to match the stroke for the right performance.
  8. Clean the stock 25's out with a piece of wire or throw some new 27.5 pilots in there and set the air screw and 1.5 turns out from the seated position.
  9. Side play clearance spec is .0098 to .0295 in inches. That looks like it's starting to separate...
  10. I would go a little richer on the mains just to be safe.. Otherwise...I think you're spot on... Why 22cc domes may I ask?
  11. I've learned time and time again...if you change jetting by a few numbers and it doesn't change a thing...stop. It's electrical.... I'd say bad spark plug caps or your flywheel might be bad. Once you change the spark plug end caps...if it still does it, remove the flywheel and shake it. If you can hear something broken up inside, it's bad.
  12. You could build a 10 mil stroke 68 to 72 bore motor and have it look all stock on the outside.... I'm not saying this guy did...just saying you can. You can go a long way with a cut head... That being said, being 100lbs is definitely helping him. I'm 250 and I let guys that weigh 200, 170 and 125 ride my bike. My buddy Scott is 125 and he runs 3 tenths faster than me and I don't even gear it for his little ass...
  13. If I didn't know smkump personally...I would call him a dumb ass. Wait...I do know him personally, so I can call him a dumbass... Seriously, he's trying something new. Like it, Hate it, regardless it's something new. So anyone is certainly entitled to their opinions but why knock a guy for trying to work with a new product. Can you imagine someone telling CP to not build his cylinders, stockers are good enough for everyone? That's just how Snop is...he's probably done more research and testing on trail pipes and 2 into 1s than anyone on the site to date. He's entitled to his educated opinion based on his testing. Now what Snop can't say how the Shearer pipe 2 into 1 will perform because I'm certain he hasn't tested with it. Just because someone in the industry has tested something similar...well the results don't necessarily mean they'll fall the same way. Matt Shearer is a pretty smart guy. I have my complaints about the quality of my pipes, but I have none when it comes to performance. None. I'm interested to see how this comes out...both on the dyno and in the dunes real world. I know smkemup just got married and built a house last year...so those excuses won't fly this year when it comes to hitting the track....so c'mon out!
  14. No...you're perfectly fine continuing to make yourself sound like a dumbass. We place no limits or holds...so you're all set.
  15. sheefreak is my bro and he's a great guy at the track, on the phone or on the forums. I will back him up and stand side to side with him any day of the week and twice on Sundays, period. I've only seen a couple of your posts Hector...you'll make a bunch of friends here real fast I'm sure...
  16. That's cheap...actually...the crank alone is over half the price.
  17. I commend you guys for what you're doing....and with all the duner crowd we have in MI, it could be a hot seller... I would bet this pipe makes it onto a turbo bike from Dan Hull sooner or later...
  18. Backloading the override trans at high RPMs kills the transmission. It doesn't always wear out the fork...sometimes it grooves up a shaft, etc. If you learn to pull in the clutch at high RPMs instead of letting the motor slow the bike down, a dunable override can last. The failures we've seen have been from excessive back loading...and the owner would admit it. In a bike ridden like a drag bike they'll last a long, long time. But you're only going 2 over because you want to ride trails. Talk to Jeff about shifting remedy...I'm not certain an override is for you either.
  19. I heard if you put 5 monkeys in a room with a typewriter, eventually they will write Gone with the Wind.
  20. That sums it all up right there. Porting, riding and setup to get the power to the ground. To the OP..if your porting isn't very aggressive, it's ported for shit or tuned for shit...you're going to get it handed to you. They have a big time weight advantage and the newer 4 pokes are no joke...except for the Predaturd.
  21. I sent an email to Rick's Stator asking him for some info on his product, if he'd be interesting in some kind of sponsorship...and told him everyone on all the boards are tired of garbage Chinese Stator products from Ricky Stator and RM stator.... Never a reply, never got back to me, etc. I've heard Moose Stators are ok. Never ran one, hard to say though. I learned the hard way. I run an OEM and keep an OEM as a backup...
  22. I take a lot of serious shits. You should respect that too...
  23. Tell him you will meet him anywhere with a radar gun. If that bike reaches 130 MPH you will give him 10K cash in hand for it. If it doesn't you get to kick him square in the nuts.
