I think (drunken stupor last night) I talked with Jeff about this too. I've spent 20 minutes on the phone with him about ordering two master links for a chain. I probably got 10 good tips and 2 good stories in that time. It's who he is...and I think anyone can put a price out there, it's his attitude and helpfulness that will keep people coming back. You won't get that with a shopping cart and checkout button.... :thumbsup:

Stock carbs, the left carb has a choke on it. That same float bowl has a tube leading up it to feed fuel to the right carb via the "Fuel enrichening circuit".... The right carb bowl doesn't have the tube in it. Aftermarket carbs are different, they both have that tube but for overflow purposes....

I'm a computer guy by day. I tried putfile and didn't like it. Trust me...imageshack.us is easy to use....

I've never heard a bad thing said about Cameron at Redline....he knows his stuff for sure. If I'm not mistaken, Cam knows Dave Moore as well, who's been doing this stuff longer than most of us have been around.... Yeah, 16mil is a monster motor...all kinds of torque. All I know, is if I actually paid to see that UFC fight last night...my TV would have a bottle thrown through it. As if the second fight wasn't bad enough....last night's freebie on spike TV was the worst of the three. As much as I would've loved to see Ken beat up on that little punk Tito....he really has no recourse or reason to say a thing now. Tito beat his ass good last night. As soon as Tito got on top, I knew it was only a matter of time before he started wailing on him.... Ken was the man in his day...but at 40 plus, its definately time to hang it up...or move on. Different strokes for different folks... When I put my lightened flywheel and +4 advance on, it was EASIER to ride and keep on the pipe in trails. Bone stock motor, Pods and T5 pipes, and I never milled my head. Coming off the line, coming out of turns...I could lug it like a 4 poke, hit the throttle and the power was there right now.... I actually liked the flywheel lightened better for trails more than anything!!! My buddy with a pretty done up 450R rode my shee before an after and said the exact same thing...it's almost 4 stroke like in trails (which, is a good thing).... It did idle about 300 RPM lower...which, could've been weather, etc....but, once I turned up the idle just a hair, I LOVED IT..... And, actually....many will tell you if you're a heavier rider, as I am (husky 240lbs...) a shaved flywheel is not a good idea for drag racing, it takes away from your holeshot inertia.... I've yet to run a lightened flywheel on my cub motor....but, I'm going to get it done. Worse comes to worse, it's 125.00 for a brand new Ricky Stator flywhell...so not like I'd be loosing a ton of cash, and I'm pretty sure I could get most of that back by selling my flywheel once it's shave should I not like it. It's only 5 months old...and yes, it was a brand new RS Flywheel.....

Yep, it's a two sided coin and I agree with you 100% on that one. They made a mistake, and after you sent the pictures they knew they made the mistake, a nice "I'm sorry for the mixup" would have been nice. I'm with you.... Best of luck, HH....hope it works out for you!

I would go .020 and +4 on an advanced timing plate. I THINK that would be safe for pump gas. Worse comes to worse, you can always back the timing off (benefit of an adjustable plate vs. a key). You will get noticeable bottom end and 'response" from those two cheap and easy mods. I'm still a big fan of a lightened flywheel, as well....

I have a NON-TORS throttle cable hanging in my garage... I can measure end to end...I know it works and was the correct one. I had it on there with a 400EX thumb throttle and my stock carbs before I got an SRP throttle and 35PWKs (come to find out, same cable...jsut wanted a new one!! )

Need some more info. Are you/do you plan on advancing the timing? What altitude do you ride at? Compression has more to do with the need for race gas than timing, unless you advance it ALOT... Every 1000ft of elevation is ROUGHLY 5 to 15PSI drop in pressure...again, ROUGHLY....

PUUULLEEASEEE get this dust bunny collector off my hands. I did have it sold to a guy in Canada. However, I refunded his money immediately once I found out all the paper work and hoops I had to jump through to send it out of country. For me to lose money on the tank AND jump through those hoops...it simply wasn't worth my time or effort....
