  1. You're saving the pictures of his cock all for yourself, aren't you?
  2. CR is the bend of the lever. Just like handlebars...CR Hi, CR Low, etc. The lever from FAST has a ball bearing in it...which I'm sure helps the easy pull.
  3. You hit a deer at 70MPH on a banshee, killed it and only bent your front bumper and light brackets? How small was this deer? I've seen average size deer absolutely wreck the front of a car, truck, etc. and they weigh a couple thousand pounds....(The car/truck, obviously) You're either extremely lucky or full of shit....I'd like to see pictures of that!
  4. Patriot does nice work...always has. Ask Dan how to outfit your cub, it's his work and he'll know what works best with his setup.
  5. That's just one piece of the puzzle. Every track I ride has a small dozer with a bucket on the front to push forward all the sand/dirt/clay back into the starting area/starting line area, THEN one of those groomers is passed over the whole track. There's a lot of work that goes into grading a track, keeping it level with NO humps is critical.
  6. Yep, getting a Rudy motor is like getting any kind of Shelby motor done by Carol Shelby himself... The guy is a legend, not much more needs to be said.
  7. The majority of the power in cubs is in the exhaust and transfers...as is, the intakes are pretty hogged out by the factory. A little massaging and shaping and that's about it.
  8. From talking with Andy (and I think he's out of town for a couple days now) they have a 4 mil 68 bore ready to go. I'm sure there are some casting flaws that could use cleaning up...other wise it's a bolt on cylinder with great power and a broad curve. Guys that very good with cylinders can get similar numbers...but any of them will tell you that's after hours of work. These are designed to work with stock bolt on parts, like stock carbs and maybe some T5 pipes, etc. If you're looking to get max power, as said...go with a cub.
  9. As Mark Herrek probably told you Fred, we need another good 300 foot sand track/paddle track in MI. Mark can get you in touch with Rich and his group, they have a complete set of lights and timers if you want this track to take off. I am very interested...and will call you sometime soon to discuss a few things!!! Dave
  10. They didn't groom the track one time. There were three bikes in the modified class (mine, joe2002 and tundish) We were the show.... I walked off about 200 feet and about 100 or so of shut down. If you were in the left lane...you had to turn slightly to the right or you would clip a fence. The track was hard as a rock in the shutdown...and at the start once the ruts developed. We told them they need to shorten it up to have a reasonably safe shut down. The traffic light start was kinda hokey, but that was ok...no biggie for a state fair. I wouldn't waste my time going there again. Entry was 25, they doubled our entry as winner and the three of us agreed to split it no matter who won. Don't get me wrong, racing is fun no matter what, but I wouldn't' go back there if the track stays the same or similar. It was a dirt strip with cones...that's it.
  11. This is the motivation I need to get my bike sealed back up...lol. After going to the Wayne County fair...I'm with you guys. If you get a picture of the track I'm probably gonna roll to it...but I"m not racing 170ish feet with 100 or so feet of shut down. Not worth it!!
  12. Ditto on that. Been using the same one for 4 years now, lots of passes and I've had to add a second master link (Due to changing rear sprocket sizes) and it is still in great shape. The best part is he sells chain in bulk...so tell him how many links you want!!
  13. I disagree... I've had the FAST EZ Pull lever and perch on my bike for years, my stocker, my 4 mil with no override or lockup and my current 10 mil with a lockup and override and I have zero clutch issues. I do get a new cable every year or every other year...for 12 bucks or so, they're a good investment. You'd be amazed how easy the clutch pull can be with this lever, a new cable and a greased up pivot point on the perch even with HD springs. It feels like a 125 cc dirt bike....
  14. You are a liar...I can clearly see the rear master cylinder is stock although it does have a billet cover...LOL. Seriously, JK. Tons of attention to detail and that is one clean bike. I agree, if you have an offer of 6500 take it. It if had a bigger motor it might get more money but an OEM cylinder with a 4 mil stroker is holding you back. It's blinged out and clean as can be!!!
  15. I agree to let this thread die and call Matt Shearer himself if you're still interested.
  16. I always use silicone on the intakes. Unless you put a HUGE amount on there and it squeezes out, anything sucked in will just burn, it's not a bige deal. Put a thin, skim coat on both sides of any gasket you use. I also use blue loctite on the intake boot bolts, I've had mine back out as well...another sure fire air leak. Some people have luck without RTV or silicone...I've had leaks in the past on different builds. The key is to not get stupid with it...just use your head.
  17. I know this is pretty common knowledge, and I'm not trying to steal your thunder Andy... But if you buy or use domes on your own make sure they are not only cut for Big Bore, but for the proper piston angle as well. My memory is fuzzy...but I believe banshee pistons are 11 degrees and blaster pistons are 9...is that correct Andy? I believe the WSM pistons in 68 bore are banshee angle as well, not blaster.
  18. I know the Little Sahara ride for HQ is on the same weekend. For those of you that can't make it, or have a drag only type bike, Rich and the Pro Truck crew are heading down to Grayson, Kentucky for a show me the money race on October 15 and 16th. There will be car, dragster and ATV classes. Should be a great time for all... Again, not trying to take away from the BHQ ride!!
  19. Highly doubt it... Just in my opinion...so take it for what it's worth. PV setups are a LOT more pricey, and these are...so far...exactly what people want out of a set of stockers, bolt on. More power, not all on top...and a much nicer curve/range. Power Valves put them out of reach of the price range for the intended customer, IMO.
  20. without a doubt! I've played with timing in only 300 feet, ran the same ET but killed or picked up 2-3 MPH just by timing alone.
  21. Damn I miss all the good stuff....
  22. And played with the lights on the squad car....yo. LOL. Just think, if you would've ran...and got a beat down you deserved, then you could cry on here about cop hating and how they're such assholes. Most of the time, you obey the law and respect authority...they give you the respect back.
  23. I can tell you the intake windows on my Vitos pistons are larger than stock. That being said, they are also about twice as thick on the skirt face as Wiseco. I have to tear down my motor to replace a crank seal, so I'm going to see how my pistons and everything is wearing, being that everything is brand new in my motor this year. Off the topic a little bit I understand...but a little relevant at the same time.
  24. If you're going to keep it a stock stroke, nothing it tougher than a stock crank trued and properly welded.
