  1. He does...however, have to let me keep my JD Customs fullbore grille.
  2. My man Chris (Wheelmanslim) is the rightful new owner of my 10 mil cub setup that has been reliable and pretty quick for years. Still gonna stay close to the sport and all my friends/family I've made over the years...just no time or interest as of late. Chris' only problem is once he assembles the bike and gives it to his girlfriend...she might be whoppin up on him, so anyone close to our group please don't let Chris detune that bike on purpose. That's like kicking dirt all over an old veteran race horse's name...LOL. Enjoy Chris...you're truly a top notch guy good for the sport and the family...
  3. I look at it as a safety issue too... I had a buddy on a worked over Raptor wheelie over backwards because of an air leak that ran away on him. If anything happens (panic, runs away, etc.) it can only go as far as the bar.
  4. DAMMIT....how in the holy hell did I miss this? Chariot makes some absolutely great products....and I always support Michigan business when I can.
  5. It'll work...but there's no way you'll be consistent. The bar doesn't improve your time. It allows you to run a good time over and over again. Natural instinct is to let off when the front end creeps up too far....with the bar, you drop the hammer, slip the clutch and roll out.
  6. Looks good my man....hope all is well with you in the land of foo foo drinks, tree hugging and Governor's gettin' down with their fugly housekeepers!!!!
  7. We've got plenty of good builders in MI... I haven't seen the Vitos' acorn nuts yet. I can tell you the ones that came with my Chariot head would be hard to beat...they are 14mm instead of 12 or 13mm, chrome one piece and trick/HD as all hell.
  8. Wow....just wow. IF that doesn't tell you the state of the economy...don't know what does. 875 is list for cylinders alone...or was when I got mine 5 years ago. Good luck to you....
  9. I second the fit and quality of his pipes 100%. Damn shame my motor popped one run into my test with his drag pipes. I would love to get mine polished then powder coated high temp. My only complaint would be to have to wipe them down with WD 40 after the wash....
  10. Just got back from J's Baseball practice, I have a first communion for a niece tonight and I'm hungover as all hell from yesterday. Tomorrow....Ann Arbor for Easter....yeah, motivation factor of zero right now...lol.
  11. I can go scuff 'em up if that'll make them feel more at home. Boo...all good. They're waiting on you. Again...my bottom end is still together, and I'm both busy and lazy (I know....hard combo to figure out) The cases came off my running motor...so I know they seal just fine. Just give me a few days notice and I'll start splitting the motor...(can you wait till it's a hair warmer...lol). All yours!
  12. If you buy my pipes I will throw in my old set of red cases. They are trenched, port matched AND stuffed by HJR. They are chain broke...but they seal perfectly fine. The bottom end of my motor is still together, it's been together since October. But I have cases if that makes things easier.
  13. George...I sent Scott a text. If he's still looking and is interested, I'll get back to you. I still have your cell..I'll text you in a few to make sure it's the right number.
  14. Funny how the world goes round that way. Still for sale, they will not fit rootracing's LSR frame. I should've added these were ran on my stock frame, 10 mil cub motor. As said, I've had these professionally welded. After the bottom seam split twice and the top seam split once, it gets really old paying for and waiting on shipping to CA from MI. I had a professional weld them with stainless so they don't rust and they don't look like crap.... If you'd like more/better pictures let me know....but as said, I'll keep 'em for less than 450 shipped or 400 in person.
  15. No offense, but what does the jetting specs have to do with a for sale thread?
  16. 900 for cylinders, pistons (used), domes and cases? Wow....that shouldn't last long. Smoking deal!
  17. Sorry brudda...if I would've put them up two weeks ago Jeff (blewbyu) would've snagged 'em. LOL. Anyone have Scotty H's cell phone? I have and OLD number for him. NM. Brother Hopper to the rescue...thx Hops.
  18. You got it Scotty. I'll get them to you later today... Doubt this picture will help...but here ya go. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  19. Here they are on the bike (better pic) before they were welded with stainless.
  20. I'm selling my Shearer big bore, small flange, chrome, silenced, two out stator side pipes. The Chrome is Matt Shearer chrome with a season on it. The pipes have been rewelded with stainless rod on both pipes, upper and bottom halves. I am located 5 minutes from I696 and I94 in Michigan. 400 local pickup. 450 shipped. I will not take a penny less, trades, or even consider other offers. I can get you as many pictures as you'd like. I took these with a camera phone. These pipes have been on my 10 mil cub for the past 4 seasons, I ride on a stock chassis on groomed, flat sand drags only. If you have any questions or would like more pictures, please ask. I will be off the forums most of today, but will get back either later tonight or tomorrow.
  21. Are you running linkage? 6 over it'll be stiff and 10 over it'll be soft on the back end...if you don't change anything. However, if you take into effect the shock angle and leverage being applied...you probably can make it work... I know from a stock to 6 over made my shocks like absolute mush...
  22. I've yet to see a suspended rear end that had an adjustable length. Are you looking for a flat drag frame or a hill shoot/hill climb chassis Tyler? If you lengthen the back end on a suspended bike, you just screwed up the rear shock valving and settings. I wasn't sure if you were getting into flat drag racing or not Tyler...so I thought I'd ask.
  23. Yep, billet first and second with a longer first would sure be nice. Not sure about the price though....
  24. Curious what the new HP first gear is. Different cut, ratio, etc? 2nd is the known weakest link...

    7mil cub

No. The needle and seat are much smaller (they need the pump to fill the bowls) To be honest, most, if not all the guys here run the PWK pumper carbs.
