man thats some nasty spelling, but you are pardoned sounds like your rich with those mains, have you done a plug chop??? if not id do that ,i have made the mistake of going on plug color by reving and putting around yardand judging exhaust smoke and felt i was too rich, but was actually far to lean and missed out on a ton of power and reliability from my motor in the past. do a plug chop,do a search if your unsure how

i would think it would depend greatly on what drag pipes are we talkin about ,in or out of frames ?, i know going from pro circuits to rocket pipes had me doing all kinds of jetting increases ,but your mains on your setup would likely be very close, maybe only a size or two big for t5s im guessing
-
yaeh it sounds like your not getting good flow ,check that like locogato said and if all else fails disassemble carb and clean out jets and passsages for any debris in their and while yo ugot it apart id check your float bowl height

never rode cpi ,but i own rockets and they pull hard like a mutha fuck# on top

hes right, screw the 2x4 jumps if you want some real "airtime" find a very steep cliff approximatley 800 feet drop, you can do backflips all day on one of those ,sick air man! and cej you stole my house plans except mine had a sun and clouds in background

after a long deployment of protecting our great country ,your gonna want a badass machine to ride and the raptor isnt gonna cut it,so id keep it. hell even if you got your 3500out of it you cant buy anything on an aircraft carrier, so you might as well keep her ,maybe when you get done youll want to throw a stroker crank on it or some shit you never know

even better than the first joke hahahahahahahah

near slippery rock exiton I-79 theres a spot referred by locals as the slippery rock sand dunes supposed to be awesome ive never been there, about 35 minutes south of me.but its 30 miles north of pittsburgh

if your talkin a straight line drag, a decently modded ported she with stock bore and stroke can beat a cr250,i have beat them on pavement several differenty times. cr250s are quick but so are shes when you deckem out ,a piped only she is close speed wise to a 125 dirtbike and a high compression ported she is more a kin to 250 dirtbikes as afr as a stroked cr on booze ,it all depends on the banshees state of tune ,but belive me theyre are plenty out there that would make that cr look like a little girls bike ,im sure a ported 4mill long rod she would hand it to the cr you described

i live near conneaut lake PA ,not sure where your location is in PA ???

once you port your jugs youll loose static compression but you can make up for that with a head mod and youll get the most of your motor work that way too ,you can and should check your compression after a port ,its just going to be a lower number ,ported motors require a lower compression before race gas is needed .someone chime in and correct me if im wrong

i run supertechnaplate klotz @40-1 works great as long as your oil choice is a hi quality oil you should be just fine @40-1 ratio
-
theres a reason every one compares their bike to a she or calls there bike a banshee eater its because shes are revered as the quickest atv and its understood and queers get jeoulos and feel if they have a a kazillion more ccs they should be laying waste to little old 350s so its all little man syndrome and they have to make up for thier small peepees , like the bat analogy too

QUITE PIPES? WHATS THE WORLD COMING TO?
rocketboy replied to rayne's topic in General Banshee Discussion
four strokes just require free flowing exhausts the power is already made by the time it hits the silencer ,but a 2 stroke is so dependant on its pipe design and flow,100 db is still fairly loud and a piped four stroke is noticably much louder than a she ,the article makes it seem like the quite pipes are giving these guys the edge they need to win ,what a pile of shit, these guys are winning because they have 10 grand in their motors and replace their topends more than their underware plus they are highly skilled riders too,i like my machines to sound like theyr built stout runners not harleys without pipes ,but it should be a riders discrepency, if you want an ignorantly loud pipe, who cares, its a race and im there to feel and hear the excitemnt of the event ,i didnt pay to hear and see bottled up pussy rides silently buzzing around the track -
nothing about banshees but some ideas
rocketboy replied to justinklumb29's topic in General Banshee Discussion
smart idea ,big trees stick out like sore thumbs ,id rather be a bush giving my fruits to freinds and myself -
primary drive products are impresive for the money,i run them on all my bikes and if i had a 90+hp bike id think maybe an exotic sprocket chain combo like sidewinder, but the kit is in excess of 3 bills thats a bit steep for maintenance items that should be replaced after awhile anyhow. regardless of what doug gust says, and while were talkin about doug gust ,id say he does good things and is a good role model for the sport, but he rides a z poor stroke and hes not paying for his parts and i guarentee hes getting paid to say kind words every time he opens his mouth ,id also bet his bike isnt setup like a normal yoshi big bore you or i could buy ,hes probably got alot of one off secrets in that motor ,because lets face it, a z400 isnt very fasts, hell it barely edges out a slowhundred ex

basicaly razors are soft open treads that hookup great but wear bad.. turf tamers that are cut hookup awesome and last much longeri love my cut tamers i cut ever other knob in every other row ,much better bite and still pulls straight on pavement exceptionally well
-
rockets dont get in the way for trails but youll lose bottom end ,this can be regained easily enough through higher static compression,if i was into trails id be looking at pro circuits i really like thier smooth powerful style in the woods
-
ii would call the rockets a violent pull more than id say its a violent hit, because they dont hit then sign off like t5s do,they pull and pull,on pavement you better be hanging on tight around 6000rpm
-
i run a 3/8 billet reed spacer with vforce2 and ive tried it without spacer, for my setup the spacer made a noticable difference, from my experianve the spacer is a great mod for high performance applications not very noticable on mostly stock she ,i have a smooth powerful hit ,without it on pavement the power is erratic and wheels are never on the ground cant control steering at all,my.02

To lighten or not to lighten
rocketboy replied to Yamaholic in va.'s topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
i ride around my yard alot,as well as woods and asphalt play drag racing, and a lightened wheel is such a GREAT IMPROVEMNT it doesnt matterif you have a long rod stroker on alcohol or a bone stock she ,its a great mod no matter what kinda riding, dont listen to all that b.s about how youll lose torque or itll stall, mines lighter than most any flywheel ive seen moded and i dont have thse problems,it makesyour throttle feel like your running EFI and powerband is instantaneous, trust me you want it! -
Polaris scrambler.. A banshee killer?
rocketboy replied to German Shepherd's topic in General Banshee Discussion
if he just took off the wrought iron rack off the back, he probably wouldnt have a wheelie problem ,what a fag ,its a damn auto clutch its not like you stab the throttle, and front jus t goes instantly sky ward ,hell you could paint your toenails waiting for the clutch to engage on those bikes, i would think the 561 lbs dry would deter wheelies very easily
