  1. agreed ,330 main should be flowing plenty of fuel and would be considered lean only in high hp modifcations like intensive porting.plugs can be deceiving when looking for certain colors characteristics,id say run it and just be mindfull of how hot your motor is running at wot,a banshee will have no problem telling you its lean ,itll cut out and fall on its face in upper rpm and backfire wildly if it is getting really thirsty.your probably closer than you think to being right on
  2. i have 28/30mm pwk kehins with rockets vforce k&n and a list of other goodies .im @+1300 elevation 155 mains/ 55 pilots/ needle in middle or down one more notch/ air screw out 1 turn should put you damn close to where you should be at IMO its gonna pull like a mofo too!
  3. 250rs are decent peppy machines ,but dont expect arm stretching banshee power ,its gonna take some money to approach 60rwhp on one ,dont get me wrong though, because theyre are 250rs out there that will rip your arms off and embarass some she owners too, itjust takes $$$ to do so ,theyre nice smallish quads and handle like the cats ass (good) 86 was the bastard child year ,but still a nice reliable and fun machine defintily better (funner)than a fourtraxx 300 utility quad in every way
  4. br8eix starts faster and revs more crisp IMO not a gimmick at all !iridium plugs are superior to the other plugs from my experiances
  5. there article they had in dirtwheels awhile back stated this 400 stroker made 70hp which isa pretty sad state of affairs for a high compression big bore stroker banshee alba has ridiculous prices and i never heard they have ever made fast anything maybe that stupid looking craptor with pretty flame stickers and a jet engine strapped to it what a dumb idea IMO
  6. congrats looks like theres some potential there, theres nothing like the sense of pride one gets from owning there own property and home .i hope i never have to rent again, good luck with it
  7. banshee there is simply no replacement ...period! riding a modified banshee is the closest thing to godlyness you can do!
  8. t5 for ripping around the yard and fast trails ,rockets for open fields and fireroads! pc are okay revvers, but dont hit like a t5 (not as fun IMO) aliens dont seem to make much power .
  9. im thinking i read its somewhere around 90 decibals
  10. well you called it a fuel line ,what was i suppose to think? under each backside a hook is atached to the bowl closest to you and farthest back i belive its on left and right carbs attach the hose through this loop and connect to the vent outlet on side of each carb oh the nthers the 2 drain lines that run back under your swingarm
  11. yes i see something ! you currently run boyseen rad valves ,ebay those bastards and make the switch to vforce2 or better yet the delta3's ,i have done this switch myself and theres a big noticable difference that your missing out on ,especially in your bottom end rpm,rad valves dont work very good from my experiance with different intakes .also you should lighten your flywheel if you have not already done so.its a very good mod that everyone who trys it loves it
  12. id say go for it! the worst its gonna do is seize your motor and possibly destroying your crank and cyliders. thats a small price to pay for a possible quick rush .do it in the name of science
  13. i have 30mm d slides and i routed my fuel lines just like my stock setup ,a long 11' line connected to a split in which 2 lines of equal length 3' branch off to the left and right
  14. making the intake rough helps to emulsify fuel and causes the mixture to" break up "so to speak which aids its burn in the cylinder head .there is a bad reaction that happens with an ultra smooth finish in which emulsified fuel will stick to it as its being pushed/pulled over its surface and it basically sticks to itself(all bad things) i forget the technical name for this process, but you get the idea its important to be rough there , but you want the domes and exhaust tract to be very smooth
  15. the sucky part is ,this clowns gonna probably leave bad feedback for you, when in fact it was clearly his fault and your gonna have to post a rebutal and its gonna make you look bad regardless.thats what sucks about ebay, ive sold my old warrior on there for 1700$ to some guy in new york and he never returned my emails and finally i was able to contact him and it turns out he was a 12 year old dreamer and had not 1 penny to his name meanwhile im stuck with a unsold machine and a 55$ ebay motors listing fee,so i leave negative feedback which he quickly left for me also and in the end it really fuct my rating, cost me money, and made me look bad
  16. for future reference when posting on ebay id state in your auction that if you hold both hands up and put out thumbs the hand that makes the L is the left hand and right is the other,i have found this method to be very useful when purchasing various atv parts and for general reference purposes
  17. from your sig i would say probably not, though it should be fairly close.unless youve got some topend dune porting and taller gearing its pretty common for a 250cc/yf450 newer bikes to win against a setup like yours .now a highreving port with right compression and intake oughta smack these bikes down if riders are equal . the 400 and 426 were pretty close in power and 450's were a hair faster torquier then theywere so.you might get a yf400 if you hook up perfect and dont miss a shift ,your porting is just too vague to say for sure, porting is where the power is at!
  18. hes got keihins ............160 main 50 pilot needle in middle
  19. as posted earliier it isnt worth the hassle ,i just sent mine out and the local machine shop did mine and i drew up a print and he cut it to print, mine is lightened more than any ive yet to see.i wouldnt waste my time indicating and changeing out cutters and worrying anout chatter and the damn thing will come undone and fly up at you, that gummy hard chrome they make em out of sucks to machine its a real pain and if you dont have the right tooling and know how ,itll turn out real shitty that is if you dont scrap it,im a tool and die maker,i do all kinds of machining of parts everyday and for me it wasnt worth the bother for the good price you can get one done for.and the whole less torque and increased wheel spin is the single biggest banshee myth going .its a lie.lightened flywheels vastly improves the way your bike makes power... period,it is pure gain and no drawbacks that ive seen whatsoever. kinda like cutting a stock head .030 and +4 timing advance, pure gain everytime
  20. plus when she gets all old and worn out and pancake tittys and such, itll give the company a bad image too a sweet banshee with big actual rockets(missles) for pipes would be so cool of a decal! thats a free one right there,....... damn im good!
