  3. whatever you decide dont let those hacks at trinity try to tell you that thier pipe is the best for your application, if i called them right now and asked them what pipe was best for woods riding ,theyd assure me its theirs ,same with any style port or riding terrain preferece,its always their trinity stage 7 pipe or wtf ever they call them now.theres no such pipe that works for every thing or every motors exhaust timing . im eager to see the shearer vs rocket dyno chart.we havent had much chance to see this yet on HQ ,i dont even care if rockets lose ,i think it would be interesting to see how they make thier power and were in the rpm IMO

  5. 155 plugs looked atad rich when i cut the threads off and the base was dark still,went to 150 mains 55 pilots ,looks better on the plug, except plug stinks bad so i took tank off and looked down the holes at the piston and such and it looked all black wet and loaded up from my jetting experiments i presume some of which had me in the 185 range for a while till i realized i needed to go down in size exhaust and jugs arte really loaded up with oily mung and im going to throw some b7es is there and see whats going on wit hmy stinky oil y problem im going to run race fuel even though i can see it will run without it ,my compression tester is a wally world special so i use it mostly to check equility of comp.delta2 reeds look good,carbs have been cleaned nothing to wild going on i guess its just loaded with shit and needs a good long run at high rpm with freshh clean race fue lthen ill do some more plug tests....thanks for replys guys
  6. i just got a new 18.6cc head and a dune portwith klotz technaplate at 40-1. my bike seems to flood out on top and im currently running a 155 main/55 pilots in my 30mmm kehins ,basically the plugs look right on ,but it power fades out on topend only not sure if its because im running staright 94 octane or what ,its not detonating at my elevation(1300ft) and portwork ,but it just is nt hitting the high notes ,ive tried going up n the mains and it gets worse im thinking my fuel isnt burning right and flooding out on top.my timing is +3-4 degrees . im going up and down on main jetting and nothing helps. the bike used to run great now on top it acts very odd and fades out in 5th -6th,my compression isnt really that high; only 150 :confused:with new topend wisecos. i cant seem to jet the topend right ,no airleaks apparent and im assuming timing is right will running pump gasvs 100+_octane affect this problem ? has anyone experianced this problem like me?thanks :cry:shoulda put this in jetting im thinking,,but it is after mods and repairs too
  7. unfortunatley .....you gotta split the bitch (its not so bad) your rings didnt just disappear .they ll come back if you dont get em out of there in the form of a lockedup crank orfuct topendagain. this is a good way to learn to work on your she .one of lifes master lessons, if you will
  8. me too, i didnt notice much differnce on my dune port with the rockets so i just switched back plus i dont have to burn my special sausage fingers trying to constantly change my spark plugs you just cant beat those slow reving 25lb black french horns ,makes girls horny too BTW
  9. id ditch those pilots first ,thats not even close i bet id run a 50-55 pilot if it were me to see how it responded .easy way to check pilots is by doing the choke trick and watching for how it starts and if you need to choke it or if it bogs off idle or hesitates,yours will most likely bog like holy hell off idle , that is if can even start with pilots that big
  10. a 440 ex can be pretty darn quick with a host of other additonal $$$ mods. as far as the awesome handleing,plushness,comfort, all that can be said about my1993 craftsman 12 hp riding mower too ,but that doesnt mean i want to ride the fucker around my trails and on the open areas
  11. this is a freaky coincidence ,Jim, but my27yr friend and his22yrold girlfriend were on there 950 something honda sportbike going 60-70mph and a guy pulled directly right in front of them on wednesday may11th at 7 oclock at dusk.they were life flighted by helicoptor to erie PA (40 miles north),and i was told they will be very lucky if theyre still alive ,i heard they broke nearly everybone in thier bodies including most vertabraes and skidded their bodies 150 feet both had helmets on too. people dont watch motorcyclists .thats why they call them "murdercycles" they are dangerous IMO not by the bikerider , but by all the other vehicles on the road not watching them let alone a woodchuck ,deer ,a bird all that shit can take your life unexpectedly ,atleast on a dirtbike or quad you only worry about yourself being dumb .sorry for your loss

  13. wheres all your other posts on here about banshees elbanshee? ? im glad you posted it though , i really needed a good laugh my favorite part was the 5-6 bike lengths you put on your friend with same identical bike and vforce thats a real classic .i dont see any mods in your sig bro or info about you? direct 1 also sells theyre own line of boost bottles or "direct thrust" bottles as they call them and when questioned on their lameass +20hp claims, its all highly technical speak like cfm,vacum pressures, and turbulent airflow patterns with these flyby night clowns. always remeber:if it claims to work a miracle ,it would be a miracle if it worked!
  14. im sick of the whole g3 dispuite ,they are clearly bogus shit reed intakes ,theyre is so much bullshit about these things its ridiculous ,why do manufactures stoop so low as to have phoney testamonials and bullshit fake -ass posts about how great they are and the wondeful gains they produce ,you dont see moto tassanarri have a bunch of single post assholes making bullshit claims on various sites ,people run vforce for one good reason : because they work and produce hp and torque , vforce cages do offer a noticable power gain over anything period,the fastest bikes out there use vforce, not g3 or mossbergerg or wtf ever they call themselves now to hide theyre sketchy marketing background
  15. one thing to consider first,do you like your airbox? cause with shearers it ll become a toy for your cat to bat around the yard with,get rockets even with a wild 350 dune port they offer usuable grunt off the bottom ,i have shearer for my blaster and rockets for my she and sheaer pipes are all topend brother IMO ,

  18. this reminds me of a condition called a "cold seizure" ,were a stock style cast piston isnt allowed enough time to heat up properly and expand to size, this makes for big ring clearance initally and casues a devastating seizure . another reason to always run wiseco prolites in your machines versus those crude, gross, unreliable stockers

  21. i wouldve bought it to replace my briggs and stratton mower engine, i neglect my yard at times. weeds grow several inches high ,problem is : i really need something that makes more than 11 horspower and can rev quickly unlike the 660cc 5 valve yammy
