i think either one would be fine .the porting I did on your jugs is setup similar to my aggresive trail she that has fmf fattys and it rips hard ,even i n the lowend rpm range ,basiclly the sst series fmf's wil l likely have a tad more topend which is probably what your looking for to compliment the port work and your riding style yo u requested , if i had a choice ...id probably pick the sst ,but realisticly the difference between them would probably be within 1 or 2 horsepower most likely IMO .

in all reality its actually the radiator that provides the real world cooling .you could strap a 55 gallon drum on your cylinders and it wont matter once theyre up to tempeture, its all the same . coolheads are good for changing dome sizes and that s about it IMO . a cut reconfigured stocker is atleast as good and half the price ,but if your dead set o n a cool head dave noss definitly has the best there is

it has to be machined/trued off a banshee crank to run true and concentric or it may possibly vibrate and/or explode

i ported the engine ,the clearances are fine ,the bore is fine . the exhaust port timing is still conservative ,id guess around 145 lbs with 20cc domes would be close @ 800 feet . if yo u need help give me a call or a pm me ..dont give up yet everything is fixable

the trex require much higher port timing to hit the big numbers and kT does them more often than most, but the port ing and such takes forever and is expensive in comparison ,youd be much better off buying a cub and getting someone reputable to port it IMO .

i dont see what the big deal is really ,sure for a utility its gonna be quick ,but 62 hp doesnt mean shit if its in a 600 pound chassis built like a tractor . its probably gonna handle like shit .when it passes a cheetah cub then ill worry .too bad it only took 800cc to get 60 hp

well your comparing apples to oranges .250r quads in stock form are slow as snails ,but a ported 250r with an esr pipe/bigger airstryker carb will beat up a piped only banshee,it takes alot of mods for one to hang with modfied banshees.if dragging is your thing the banshee is the only way to roll.yo u can make a 250cc smoke all the new 450 quads if yo u set it up right
