  1. Ive got a 03 Z400as my trail bike and needing some ideas for it to get a little more kick. today i was out on it and it when to shits. found out the cam chain was streched and broke 3 links. decided to go a little deeper and found out the crank got hot (turn black and blue) so heres where im at, should i go ahead and put a 430 hot rods strocker crank in or got with a stock hot rods crank and a 435 big bore athena kit in? i know its a lot to be spending on a nothing special trail bike, but i need to do a some type of upgrade since my banshee doesnt like trails anymore and everyone i ride with has YFZ 450s 660 and 700 raptors. thanks for any help
  2. so, its been probably a yr since i was last on here. just got real busy in live and forgot my "second home". mainly what happened was got a new job making twice as much as i was working 2 dead end jobs, sold my green camaro (for those who remember seeing the pic of it in my profile) bought a newer camaro(will try to get some pics of it up), and getting really close to buy a yfz to start building up my banshee even further! and ow ya, also, completely redid the frame on my banshee last yr about this time. use to be an ugly ass ford raddle can blue, now we have a little color......... u happy now MATT! i finally dropped the old blue frame pic of my banshee
  3. i was the another day, so thats why i just use this link http://www.bansheehq.com/forums
  4. see, mine did this back in nov. it busted both rings, and what u see on the piston is the way my jug looked. also busted the piston off on the intake side (got lucky and didnt hurt my crank) if u just have them re-sleeved, u wont be wasting all that money from the port jobs
  5. they do it every year. one year they said the suzuki was coming out with a 1400cc king quad i believe.
  6. presure washing doesnt always work (my case it didnt) and sand blasting worked pretty damn well on my frame and all my parts.
  7. i know were talking about quads, but what about mud trucks? my boss runs a mudrun every 2 wks through out the summer (funrunmudrun.com i think is the web site) and some of the trucks that enter start turning some pretty high rpms. one of the guys that comes into the tire shop alot has an s-10 with a 355 small block at turns damn near 9000 rpms. mean motherfucker if u ask me
  8. sand blaster, trust me i know V V V V V "Started my version of the Banshee Build"
  9. its a track for those rich fucks who thinks that $10,000 is chum change. $5000-$85,000 for a membership, FUCK THAT!!!!! johnny dare was taking about it about 2 wks ago and thought it was a fucking joke
