  1. The 3's have been out for a while... i have a book in the shop that was printed in april of 2004 that has them in there...
  2. Sunstar sprockets are pretty good too, even if you get the works finish on them they're still wayyyy under the cost of renthals.
  3. I've got a mild port on mine. I used to run the stock carbs and at WOT you could feel (and hear) the engine starve for fuel. I'm running 28mm PWK's now and the engine pulls hard the whole way. It was a major change, worth the effort.
  4. vito's performance sells a throttle cable that is set up to run on carbs w/o tors. Its only like 21 bucks.
  5. if i'm not mistaken, engine ice protects down to around -25 degrees. Its not great... but most winters temps don't get that low.
  6. i need to replace my throttle cable, what company makes a cable that isn't set up for stock replacement. Any ideas??
  7. i feel ya on this question, i have pwk 28 mm's and i've been wondering the same thing. i know mikuni sells a kit, too bad keihin doesn't
  8. getting a cool head is better off in the long run, no matter what you do to your stock head the fact remains the same it's still a "stock head" if you get serious with wrenching around on your 'shee having the benefit of o-rings instead of gaskets is worth the cost of the new head alone
  9. razr 2's are killer mx tires if you're gonna be running in loose sandy soil, hope you've got deep pockets though, cause they're high dollar tires
  10. the new v force 3's are nice, i have the delta 2's on mine but i sell v 3's all the time.. the design seems to allow for more flow through the center of the cage. best of all they cost the SAME as delta 2's
  11. i've had good luck with engine ice and the mechanic at my shop swears by it... at 17 bucks it's a little on the high side, but if you get in good with the parts guy he can cut you a little break on it
  12. holeshots are what i'm riding on, they actually have held up pretty well considering the amount of time i spend riding on the pavement... i just went with the basic ones since the xc and xct are more expensive
  13. I know that changing a carb to alcohol requires changing jets, needle and needle valve seat.... the question is to what??? bigger... smaller?? I found a conversion kit but not for a keihin... help me out if ya know
