  1. Dual rate TCS, you won't be disappointed. However, there are a lot of variables you need to account for before making the final decision. Good Luck
  2. Duning= Sand Skate II or Skat Trak Edge Dragging= Hauler, no doubt
  3. It is supposed to be quite a bit better with its host of upgrades, most notably is higher compression.
  4. All of the above is true. If you want to "ride" Glamis, do it on another weekend. If you want to sit back and watch the action, there will be plenty to watch.
  5. I think you are talking about the 98 color. You should beable to order stock rears from any authorized Yamaha dealer, about $165ish http://216.37.204.206/alba/Yamaha_OEM/Yama...e=13&A=122&B=19
  6. Thats it! Do they have a foam one? If you are sucking sand, you MUST get a foam pre filter. The nylon type like outerwears, will not help keep out the fine sand.
  7. There should be a rubber line, not the balancing tube, that connects the two carbs which is located on the inner sides of the carbs. If it is not connected it will cause an air leak which creates symptoms similar to those you describe.
  8. Quicksand all the way, can't get better quality for the price
  9. thanks banshee370 and cotton eyed joe, I thought I was going to get toasted on for my response
  10. enFORCER, say what you wish and until you try it, keep the wise-cracks to yourself
  11. Actually running paddles backwards can be a benefit, assuming you are running a straight paddle. It will give you more tire spin and less bite. In a perfect world you would not do this. But for example, if you had 10 paddle haulers on a relatively stock bike and were not turning them very well, you would be a lot faster with them mounted backwards.
