  1. We're just supposed to ignore the bad comment a fellow member made? I don't think so. I guess he thought he was making it behind our backs, and that no one here would ever find out. If he had any balls at all, he would have posted it here, but he didn't.
  2. Sounds like an air leak on the right side, somewhere.
  3. Just take them off, and throw them away, as they aren't needed.
  4. The deal with the non-site sponsor, and his pipes should be left up to the discretion of the site owner, but as far as Cam's comment goes, he can take his comment, fold it in half, shove it up his ass sideways, and set it on fire.
  5. Somebody needs to kick it's ass to the curb then, so we don't have to listen to all the BS.
  6. I've been running an MSD CDI box for a close to 10 years, and the only problem I've had, is the coil finally quit. So, to whomever said the others, but Dynatech, are unreliable junk, is full of shit.
  7. The only way to replace that bearing is to have the crank rebuilt, or buy a new crank. Everything should have been checked out, before the rebuild was done.
  8. Look at the top of the page, where the banner adds are, and you'll see FAST, M&M, and many others. Just click on the banner add of your choice.
  9. Are you talking about the wrist-pin bearing, that's actually inside the piston? If so, I always replace them, when I rebuild. It's cheap insurance.
  10. Those pipes, and silencers look like the ass end, of a hard time.
  11. Nology, and Dynatech make good coils, but they aren't cheap. Nology also makes their own wires. Check with FAST for the Nology coil, and wires.
  12. Torque, and sequence is the same as the stock head. If you don't have a Clymer's manual, buy one, because you're going to need it many times.
  13. Switch the plug wires around, and see if the problem switches sides. I had a coil go bad, and I had the exact same problem as you. I put a brand new coil on, and the problem was gone.
  14. It could very well be lean on the pilots, or the air mixture screws are all F'd up. Hard cold starting is caused by low compression, or being lean.
  15. It's happened before, and it could be something as simple as a loose bolt on the pick-up coil, causing it to move.
  16. Check the gap between the flywheel, and the pick-up coil. It should be 0.015"-0.020", and you can set it using a matchbook cover.
  17. The worst problem with tires at Little Sahara, is sand in the bead. Come to think of it, I've never saw a tire punctured down there.
  18. I had to buy one down there, and it was almost at double what I could get one for, here at home, so take any spare parts you think you might need. Also, you really have to watch out for others, as many people tend to get really stupid down there, and do things like jumping dunes, without somebody on the top, watching for others coming up the backside.
  19. My last trip down was a disappointment, because one side of my coil quit on me, but that's really the only time I've had mechanical problems. Good luck, have fun, and be safe.
  20. With your mods, I'd say put the 15 tooth on before you even leave. I run 15/40 on a stock cylinder 4mil, with 10 paddle haulers no problems.
  21. Little Sahara at Waynoka, Oklahoma, I'm guessing. If so, I've been there many times, and there really aren't many places to use all 6 gears. In all my trips down there, which is probably 50, or so, I think I've gotten into 6th a handful of times, at the most.
  22. An easier way to tell, whether you're rich, or lean, is to pull the choke. If the problem gets worse, you're too rich on the main, and if it runs better, you're too lean.
