  1. 15/41 with 22" paddles is going to be a lot of gear to pull. I run 15/40 with 20" haulers, and a 4 mil stock cylinder.
  2. Try new spark plug boots, and new spark plugs. Trim a bit off the end of each wire, and screw the new plug boots on.
  3. That looks like someone attempted an abortion, and failed. WHY????
  4. You can always have aluminum polished, then powder coated with clear, so you no longer have to polish it.
  5. I had the exact same problem as you, almost a year ago. It turned out to be that one side of the coil would quit, once it got good, and warm. Switch your plug wires around, and see if the problem changes sides. If it does, then it could just be a bad plug boot, damaged plug wire, or bad coil.
  6. I've got CPI's, and love them. Even though they are a "drag pipe", they hit sooner than the Fatty's I had, plus they rev out more. The CPI's would be a good pipe, for you.
  7. Mine is in my sig. Sorry, as the frame is still stock color.
  8. If you are having to squirt gas in it to start it, then it's lean. You either have plugged pilot jets, your pilots are to small, or you have an air leak. Check your float levels to make sure they are adjusted to the right height.
  9. Don't click that link. Details: Web page: http://www.procomeng.com/index.php?view=catalog&cat_id=1&brand_id=2&model_id=44 Description: Access to the web page was blocked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. The web page is on the list of websites with potentially dangerous content.
  10. It should take care of that. You're starving it for fuel.
  11. FMF pipes like a richer pilot jet, as do most after market pipes. Put some 27.5 pilots in, adjust the air mixture screws, and it will idle, if you adjust everything properly. Air mixture screws should be 1.5-2 turns open, but make sure both are adjusted the same.
  12. Make sure that the air mixture screws are adjusted the same, on the carbs.
  13. I can vouch for the EZ pull clutch lever. I'm running 6 HD springs with a FAST clutch, and Magnum basket. The pull is easier than a stocker, with the EZ pull, now. Well worth the money.
  14. If you don't have 27.5 pilot jets, you need to buy some. FMF's like a richer pilot jet.
  15. I've used UFO, and OEM platics, and both look good/fit good. The Maier's that I've saw, look like crap, and fit like crap. You get what you pay for.
  16. Get a set of 27.5 pilots, and put them in, like someone else had said. You're too lean on the pilot.
  17. Take the carbs off, one at a time, clean, and reassemble them. It may be time to change the plugs, and plug boots, just to eliminate those, as possible problems. Make sure the carbs are synched, jetted, and adjusted the same.
  18. Put some 27.5 pilot jets in those carbs. It's starting hard, because it's lean.
  19. 115 mm rods use pistons, that have the wrist pins moved 5mm higher. On either length rod, the pistons will come out of the cylinders, 2mm, so you need custom domes cut, or spacer plates.
  20. #1-You can't leave a Banshee idling, while sitting still for long, as they need air moving through the radiator, to cool them, and #2-it's lean, way lean. That's why it won't shut off. You've either got an air leak, or the wrong jetting. Don't start it, until you fix the problems, unless you want to do a top end rebuild, which you may end up doing anyways.
  21. Try a set of 27.5 pilots, and 1-1.5 turns out on the air mixture screws, just make sure both screws are adjusted the same.
  22. To hold the clutch basket, I put a clean rag between the crank gear, and clutch basket gear. It works like a charm, and doesn't damage anything.
