  1. Cable, pressure plate, inner hub, actuator, busings, and shift components are all wear items. They should be checked every year, some replaced every year
  2. Old cable, welded ball/rod, bad actuator, warped pressure plate, warped hub, grooved basket, sloppy basket bushings, worn fiber, warped steels, discolored steels, burnt oil, burnt wood smell, and take a lot of pics.
  3. I'd be looking at the clutch. Stop riding it. A motor spinning at 10K rpm smokes a clutch really fucking fast
  4. I believe millennium has pistons on hand. They will measure the pistons and match them to the cylinder Also if the motor seized I'd be pulling the crank out and inspecting that. A hot crank is never a good thing.
  5. So we're the fins on the old school air cooled engines worthless?
  6. And they said they don't know where to get domes? Have no idea what jetting to run? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk
  7. Maybe talk to the people that make the cylinders. I mean, thats who I would call. Maybe that sounds dumb, I don't know.
  8. If the wife and son enjoy it keep it. But yeah I'd suggest an inspection of the entire motor. I'm sure there's more then a few worn out parts. How into it is your son? At 16 you couldn't keep me away from my toys. I'd wrench at it every chance I got. He may be willing to do a fair bit of work. Send the engine out, you guys can toy around with the chassis. I'd say cables, bearings, and brakes are an easy job to tackle between the 2 of you. And there's always this place to refer back to for any help you might need.
  9. Dude if your in such a time crunch you could've ordered a honda for 20 bucks or got the 450 and tried it. But your waiting for some one to answer your question. You selling the bike, your going to get paid at the end.
  10. Did you bottom out the adjuster or do it as per manual? It looks like you just ran it in all the way
  11. If you want, they do make one with reserve. I've seen it once. I should've bought it.
  12. well apparently they do!
  13. 200 bucks and it was cut and rebuilt with about 15 rides on it
  14. IS THAT WHAT THEY FUCKING SELL FOR?!
  15. I don't know. Try it. If it doesn't work it was cheap. Worst case, it doesn't open the carbs all the way.
  16. I dont know. Maybe. Maybe not. A 400ex will for sure.
  17. A honda 400 ex will. Which is about as good as it gets.
  18. Well it always runs good before it breaks. I hate when people tell me that. "It ran good before it broke, so it shouldn't be to bad to fix"
  19. This. Mine was sold before I even got it out of the bike.
  20. Is powder coat available where you are?
  21. Upload it to photobucket or download the Tapatalk app on your phone and do it that way
