  1. 500 for everything. Maybe less. Maybe more. A shit load on eBay.
  2. So that little rubber o-ring that sits in the pipe? And no that one lower compression. And the thumb trick is very unreliable. Its nice to find what cylinder in on the compression stroke but that's it. And it'll tell you you have a hole in the piston. Get a gauge. It's a necessity, I think you can borrow them from auto zone.
  3. Is it blowing out all over the place? It is a 2 stroke that is kind of normal to an extent.
  4. Glad to hear you got it figured out. Always check the simple stuff first.
  5. A piston ring was hanging out of the exhaust?
  6. It does go through. Water drains through it. If you don't have a magnet just blast it with an air compressor. Or go to an auto parts store and get one for $2.50 they are a great tool.
  7. Next question is, what is done to your banshee? Carbs? Pods? Lid on? What's your elevation? Any port work? What jets do you have now?
  8. That "black hole" does not in any way shape or form open to any internal engine parts. Just fish it out with a magnet. Everything will be okay.
  9. He PMed me telling me he found a problem, he offered full refund or to kick back some money saying they weren't worth what I paid. Super honest guy to buy from. Very few people would offer that. That says allot about him. Anyone thinking about buying from him I recommend him.
  10. Doesn't matter. "fine" will be easier to tap and you have more TPI. But the kit comes with a tap. Use that if you can.
  11. Like I said, find a short bolt that fits. Wrap Teflon around it, screw it in. Is you want cut off the head dab JB weld on it. You can sand that pretty smooth to.
  12. Obviously a shorter bolt so it doesn't hit the slide.
  13. To just plug up the hole I would of left the JB weld in it. But if you drilled it with the drill bit from the kit. Tap it, then go to the store and pick up the same size bolt. Put teflon tape and put it in. You can take off the head and make it flush so it looks a little cleaner. I would dab a little JB over that as extra security and be done with it.
  14. There's a calculator to basically tell you exactly where you should be
  15. Then yeah, totally worth it. You won't be disappointed.
  16. Did you talk to him. I called him and asked what is the best set up for me. He asked where I ride, what's done to the bike now, and based on that he knows what will be best for you. And is you talked to him and he suggested that, then hell yeah 100% worth it.
  17. I'm no ice racer at all but dont you need studded tires?
  18. Both are great shops. If you're on a schedule definitely go with Kevin. But if not it is all preference. I went to HJR due to his turn around time. But I've never heard one bad thing about F.A.S.T.
  19. Haven't contacted him yet. But I'm definitely gonna get this figured out the right way. And I would never use octane booster. Mechanic in a can don't work. I spent good money so it's okay to take my time and get it to a tee.
  20. Just call Kevin. I had my motor ported by him. When I got it back I was on the phone with him for an hour just picking his brain. Not once did he seem to get annoyed. He should be able to point you in the right direction.
  21. Yeah got the mx hardcore port and the bike rips. That's one of his less intense port jobs.
