  1. Tors, parking break, clogged jets, low compression, it could be a shit load of problems.
  2. I just sent my jugs and domes to Kevin at HJR to get rid of my spacer plate. I didn't have a leak problem. The spacer plates raise the ports. I got my jugs ported for the 4 mil. I don't know what way they go but I know the spacer plate is not helping. I'll let you know when I get them back. But you are getting them ported. Get them ported for the 4 mil and cut the domes, you already in there. Its a extra hundred. It's like running 180 psi compression on a unwelded crank. Yeah you can do it, but it's not the best thing to do.

  4. You have a awesome platform. First I'd the care of all the bearings. Carrier, front wheels, steering. Do the brakes, chain and sprockets, change the cable's. I would do all the maintenance stuff first. As far as add on's, extended axle, nerf bars, bar risers( if she is comfortable with them) repack silencers. I'm going through the same thing with my girlfriend. I don't know where you want to go with this but that's all stuff I did with her bike.
  5. Drop the needle one notch leaner. so move the clip up if you don't know.

  7. Sounds like one side isn't firing. Check the idle screws, jets, choke tube, compression, plug caps and get a clymers and down load the service manual. Reeds I like my v force, jetting you have to check. Pipes elevation temp and air flow all play a part in that.

  9. Is this started happening after he rebuilt it take it back and ask him what the fuck? I'm guessing it's coming up the breather tube on the clutch cover. You could have a leak going into the cases and pressuring them. Also the over flow in the back can be clogged.
  10. Fuck that guy. Its a stock bike that barley runs. Offer him 700. Bring a compression tester to check that. This guy needs to be realistic. He put no money into it since its all stock and doesn't run right.
  11. If your gonna look at it that way just sell the bike. If you're trying to figure out how acceptable a air leak is that you seem to have found easily then I can't imagine how the rest of the bike is.
  12. Parking break or tors or carbs clogged. If the price is right buy it. These bikes are easy to work on.
  13. They do when I put the shocks on I had to lift the arms to them, but the ball joint still looks stressed. And I hope you have a quick recovery. Thanks for all the help.
  14. Yeah. One time I put my cover on and I didn't realize but the gears hit and I knocked off like 2 or 3 teeth.
  15. Print out the nada paper. Also stock parts aren't worth shit. Its not like you can take them off and sell them. And it's not like he put any extra cash into.

I would love to play the blame game when I break things but 99.9% of the time it's my fault or directly related to my doing. Like you said we are building custom motors. If you can't or don't want to do it right then pay to have it done. In the shop we have this thing called"asshole tax" that is the money you lose doing something half ass and it fails and you end up paying twice for shit. Asshole tax. I don't think you should explain anything.

  20. I have triple rates I got and they are a inch or 2 to long. They are from a raptor. I will swap for any suspension, after market only.
