  1. 23 13 115 I just got my domes back from HJR and I just want to know what it means. I hope it's not a 23cc dome, because I sent him my 20 cc domes.
  2. yeah I have a 4 mil. If you can prove it then I'm all for it, when my motor goes I'll swap it out. But I've heard a lit of second and third hand info. I realize what I said and you're right, so if someone can show me cylinders side by side or break it down using geometry and stuff then I'd like to see it. You mention manufacturers, if the 110 was such a problem wouldn't they stop making it and only sell the 115? so if someone can give me good reliable info then I'm all ears. Until then, I'm not believing it's gonna wear wrong of faster or oval cylinders.
  3. I'm not a flat track guy but, SCORPIONS SUCK!! My blaster could spin them on the road. Don't flat track people run something like slicks? But I don't know. What I do know is that scorpions suck. I had to cut rows off my scorpions to get them to hook and run almost no air. They are garbage. There like 50 bucks which is nice, buy you get what you pay for with those.
  4. wanna explain the simple mathematics? I hope its not the typical rod angle and stress and the stuff that you read on here. And Do you have any proof? I still have yet to see proof of any more wear or stress. I've talked to a lot of people that have 110 and they never noticed.
  5. I don't like the way it looks there. Maybe I need to see it from a different angle.
  6. Work with what you have, a couple of stripped bolts ain't a big deal. You'll save money and know that you really did build it from the ground up.
  7. If anything I was gonna try a dent puller with the stud welder. Nasty racing called me and made a good point, he said to see If it's holding any heat back
  8. Just need a junk one. not expensive, I can just cut the stock one. But I'd just like to have the numbers on it.
  9. Thanks. Got it like that. Just got it together and didn't see it till I put the pipes on. I got it as a pile of parts and never looked at the pipes, but like you said its in a decent spot that I can prob work it out.
  10. I would of told him that he was getting fucking high in there. Good job tho
  11. How badly can that affect the bike?? It's my girlfriends bike and she doesn't really want to buy new exhaust is it isn't to bad. But it is worse then it looks in the pics. Its about half way into the pipe
  12. I think they are all ultra now. If I remember correctly the permatex guy came by the shop explaining how they are getting away from the shit that you would have to let cure for like 20 minutes. But if you do come across non ultra then don't buy it they say on the package OEM and gas and oil safe and stuff like that. On the Bottom end rebuild thread big red uses red rtv and says he never had a problem.
  13. Yeah there is a notch for neutral. And black RTV is fine. It is oil and gas resistant. It just makes a mess.
  14. do you have proof the 110 rod is less reliable? I've talked to a lot of people that have ran both and no one has been able to see a difference.
  15. Kev is the man, he just finished porting my jugs for the 4 mil and cut my domes. Took him like 4 days. He called me when they came in and he just called me this morning too let me know there coming back
  16. Klotz!! But really you can pick whatever you want.
