No. OEM is the only way to go. And you should really know that's your problem. Not guess and check. Do you have some one you can swap a known good one with?
Phelps gave me free shit. I asked for a bracket and 2 sets of jets. I get a zip lock bag with about 80 jets kehien and mikuni, 4 needles, and 3 brackets.

Pick up a clymers. Your lucky you didn't destroy all the work you did. As far as the gear, did the gear weld its self in place? Or did you bend one of the shafts? That trans probably heated up something had to happen. I had my 1-2 gear weld it's self in place. Had the same problem your having.
