Wrong. Your motor leaned out on that side. Check your carb boots, carbs, and reeds. When you do the top end DO A LEAK DOWN TEST. You have to find out how it leaned out so much.
My girlfriends bike has her key switch on the rad shroud. I'm running the tether. That's my key. No big ass switch on my bars either. It's a lot cleaner IMO
Your right and wrong. The reeds hold some pressure, not the compression of the motor. As the motor is on the downward stroke with the reeds sealed it forces the charge up into the cylinder through the transfers. Some does escape, but not much.
It's either all that garbage Ricky stator shit that you really seem to have a lot of, or double check your key switch. I jumped a key switch with a staple in the plug, for some reason it did the tors limiter bog till I cut the wires and twisted them.
