  5. My floats hug the ground. Especially where we ride they are nice in all the whoops. I'm seeing a lot more pros run floats now too. Adjustability on the fly is a huge plus. But my next set up will be long travel. No doubt about it. Not sure if air or sprung tho.

  7. I have a 4 mil with CPI. The thing is a fucking rocket. Get you trans modded.

  11. Well, I will say, said builder did supply me with the wrong domes. Needless to say, I am not going back. Even after I called with concerns about the specs and numbers I got. They were just not compatible with my motor. Luckily/thankfully the clutch/trans let go. Went to a different builder, he was not impressed.

  13. any one that owns a banshee can tell. And if your grudge racing competitively the person your racing will know too. Best bet is to get a cub and just lie about the bore and stroke. That will be easier to get away with. Because if I see some one with a wampum, I won't take there word on anything
  14. So I should sell my 3 cages ( I guess worth almost nothing) and fund the 4s. Seems like the 3s were a failed attempt to better a already good product. The design was there, but the out come wasn't what people wanted.
  15. The planetary in a automatic is a constant mesh and constantly spinning. Bearings I can see since there is no side load. But between how hot the automatic clutch packs get, the bands, the torque converter, and the weight it can move. I'm still seeing it hard to believe my quad is breaking it down in a few hours. Has anyone done any sort of testing? Be it temp, viscosity, actual lab test? I'll take anything. I'm just thinking out loud, so please if anyone has actual facts please shoot me down. If not I would like to keep the ideas going
  16. Has anyone actually tested there ATF after 1 ride then after 1000 rides? I find it hard to believe my over powered weed whacker will break down trans fluid faster then the 120k miles on my truck. I've towed through the sand, up mountains, in the mud, at 80mph. Same trans fluid. Does anyone have any actual facts of type F breaking down in 3 hours?
  17. I have 2s in my bike. I have the 3 cages with no pedals for my girlfriends bike. I'm debating on selling the cages and buying the 4s. Then I need to decide which bike gets them
  18. What are these really worth now that you can get 4s for 190 new. I just paid 120 for vf2 pedals. I have a set of vf3 cages and I'm holding off on buying pedals because I don't know what they are worth used. The low price of the 4s is throwing me off. So now does the value if these fall to penny's because new is so cheap?
