  1. Well if your 64 now and you jump all the way to 66 you essentially wasted your top end. Let's say a ring lets go when you 64.5 no big deal, bore to the next needed size. At 66 your at the limit of bores. So you could fuck up your new build and break some thing, all that Money was now wasted.
  2. why do people keep referring PT mids.... you guys do know they have a more aggressive "trail" style pipe PT High revs.... PT mids are good pipe in their own way... PT high's are in the same class as the DMC's etc... This is a good statement. I'm running mids on my girls bike. The bottom end is great. It just pulls in to the power band seamlessly. The top end leaves a lot to be desired for a banshee. In all honesty, there a little better then stock pipes as to flow and top end but the "hit" is about the same as stock pipes.

  5. What's better ford or Chevy? You'll get hundreds of different answers. I was told fire it, listen for odd noises, ride it. Double check nuts and bolts, then raise hell. Like I said I was told this way. Some people have these half throttled engine temp, cool downn, idle times, hold it 1/2 throttle for 15 seconds, don't go wide open until 2 weeks. You can do whatever you want. You can call around ask a few sponsors and see what they say, or if you had someone build your motor
  6. 14-15 / 41 Depends on tire size, power out put, how much spin you want, everyone is different. I have a 15/41 on my dune bike.

  9. Buy the 4 mil. Your wallet will hate you, but you'll thank us. Send your cylinders top case and trans out. Cylinders for a 4 mil port of choice with the 4 mil domes or your stock head modded. Top case to get port matched to the cylinders. Get your trans modded to just shift better. Get a billet basket and and a quality clutch. You can get a billet water pump if you'd like. A new modded shift shaft, modded star, pancake bearing, clutch cable, and get the shift forks checked out. Don't forget the washers that you must fold to lock in place. Just replace those. I know this seems overwhelming but this is all necessary to get the most out of your motor. I'm sure there's stuff I'm missing. But this is all the stuff I did. I also got the bushings in the cases replaced when my builder saw they were bad.

  11. Your pilot is to small, and your needle probably as well. And your main. Is your motor ported for the 4 mil too?

  13. My nerfs have saved me a few times. If you ride aggressively I could see needing them.
  14. I'm healing up alright. PT 2 times a week, thanks for asking. As far as the brand, I got them off here for 50 bucks. I'll see if the brand came up. They had about 6 mounting holes in the back, so that's why I went with them. I had to move them to the back of the peg when I put my CPI's on.
  15. What is the issue? I run nerf bars with my roll pegs.
  16. Did you check the for sale section? Race tech has a good stator. But flywheel is oem only. I had a aftermarket one shear the rivets
  17. There a little different, but same scary thin wheel. I saw him slam the front end down when he didn't run a bar. Didn't seem to affect them
  18. Local guy runs them on his DM. He's had them for a while
