You should get everything all settled and figured out before you make any purchases. And the sponsor young guns had a special on hot rods cranks going on till the end of the month.

  8. Hell yeah you do. No one here will ever offer up cheap services or parts. And for good reason. Most people here have been around these bikes since they first came out. Listen to john up there. He is a wealth of knowledge. Take it one step at a time. You don't need to do everything at once.

  10. Fmf are fine. Are they the best? No. Are they better then stock? Yes. As far as 4 mil or stock stroke. I think you should just jump into a 4 mil. You can grow into your comfort zone. The pipes will keep it tame. When you want more you can get new pipes, carbs, reeds. Then you can start chasing power
  11. Porting will get you the most power. My suggestion to you is just pull the entire motor and send it out in a big box. Call your builder of choice (I suggest you stroll through the site sponsors and take a few numbers down) Tell them what you want, where you ride, how you ride. They'll also follow up with a few questions. Come to an agreement on what you want. Pay. Wait. When it comes back install, hang on. It'll be like no other bike you've ridden if your new to this. Next is suspension and handling.
  12. When camron (redline) had his Christmas deal on the pro mod, I ripped my girlfriends bike apart just to do it. I have it on my bike, and every banshee I get will have it done. From bolt on to high hp trail bikes. If you don't need/want an over ride, this is what to get.

  15. I think it's an older Vito's crank. Just put in. A new crank if your willing to do that. You have a coolhead with domes. Hemi head I believe is Vito's as well. Get some pics up. Yes. Again get some pics up. You may have a motor ported for a 4 mil 110 rod. Was there a aluminum space plate under the cylinders? If not do the domes have any scribings on them? The more pictures the more people can help you out.
