  1. This is true. This guy blasted my cases. It will be done to all my motors.
  2. Yes. These were originally my carbs. I went through them Cleaned checked set up and cleaned again when I got them. He just pulled these off his running bike just to swap carbs. I'll shoot him a text
  3. I'm with this guy up until the very end. I prefer to never scrape surfaces. Ever. I know a lot of old school guys will do it and do a perfect job with it. But I have been using non-abrasive rol loc pads from 3m. On my die grinder it takes 1/4 of the time as scraping and never risk gauging, grinding, distorting or anything. There meant for removing old gaskets. Now if you don't want to buy these then go ahead and use a scraper, just sharing the easiest safest and fastest way I have found.
  4. Will do. I'm hoping for an all around pipe that has low to top that's all usable. Not looking for drag pipes, but any trail rider knows what I mean. So once this snow stops and it gets above 20 degrees we might brave the cold and just get some laps in to get rid of the bug of not riding all last season and winter since my accident. Here's a pic of her bike as of now I'll get better ones once she gets the plastics done and mounted.
  5. I really like them. I had the mids on last season and now put on highs. Just reving the bike in place I could hear the difference in the pipes. I don't have any seat time on the highs, but the mids were on all last season. And they weren't fast pipes, but the power band came on so smooth you couldn't really hear it like a normal 2stroke. As for feel, they top end wasn't anything to write home about but the bottom and mid. It would just pull extremely hard. The power was very usable in tight trails and very easy to manage the bike. The transition was smooth and felt almost like a 4 stroke. I'm a believer in these pipes. I'm hoping for the same results with the highs. But just that, higher RPMs.
  6. You make your own leak down tester for like 20-30 bucks. Get a half decent comp tester. You can bring a spark plug and see which one has the closet length adapter to get the most accuracy out of it
  7. It's CP industries people that make the cub cylinders. They are plated so no boring. Any sponsor can get you them.
  8. Sweet. They seem alright for trail riding and just a weekend warrior. I'm willing to give them a shot
  9. Well that's just fucking great. Do you know how many people I have to tell that I was wrong and they were right.
  10. Well then trade in the 2.5 gallon for a 5 gallon and let it rip.
  11. If gas mileage is of concern, get a 4 stroke. Or a very mild ported or non ported stock motor. Or you could just ride slow, but who the fuck does that?
  12. Did they come with bushings? I see there installed in the pic. And how about powder? On the eBay listing there painted. I sent the seller a message but they were vague in there responses.
  13. There is no direct replacement. Just another oem one. All after markets are "ported" different
  14. I always have a little gas come out. Shit gets bumpy, not much you can do
  15. Nope. I don't wear smedium. I had my original t for over a year
  16. I switch between the 2 brands of klotz. The ST and the benol. Can't say I saw a difference. I think it's more towards the same ratio.
  17. Now what's everyone paying?? I get them at 50 a gallon last season here in jersey. Techniplate that is
  18. I keep hearing all the fastest bikes in the world are in Puerto Rico
  19. Wtf. I had to go look at mine. There dead center. Does that have air in it? Is it mounted on a rim?
  20. DETONATION= stop fucking running it!!
