  2. Well since my other thread about my girlfriends porting was such a hit, I figured ill start a thread about my bike. This was done by a member here. Carl (sleeper06) I originally had an hjr 4 mil. And I was just getting stomped on by a few bikes. So I went to the source. I gave Carl my whole motor. Said here, make me faster then the last guy. So Carl went through everything and I had a huge list of shit I needed new. This included cylinders and crank. So Carl took my unported cylinders and totally re did them. Had a new crank. Actually 2-3 because he didn't like the first one. He cut my trans, set up my clutch tuned my motor. He did it all. Now there's a handful of members here that have delt with Carl, had him work on his bike. I know one that Carl is the only on that will ever touch his bike. So I was actually pretty vague on my discription. I just said faster then the other ones but not a drag port. I guess a dune port? Hasn't really been labeled. Well a couple grand and a few long months, I had a rocket ship. The thing was perfect out of the gate. I went out and I could pull 6th gear no problem. Bike had unreal power top to bottom. I had the front end up all day, I couldn't keep it down. A snap of the throttle and it just lifted. Well by the end of the day I had 2 broken arms and 24 stitches. So I never got a good review. so I went out last Sunday. Since last august the bike just sat. Started a few times here and there. Well didn't skip a beat all day. Front end lifted, power delivery on demand. Again THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED. It's perfect for me. The thing is perfect for where I ride. More power then what I need so I'll be happy for a while. Any body go to Carl. I could make this review twice as long if I went into detail about how Carl works and the resources he has at his disposal. He won't let you down. Gave me arm breaking power literally.
  3. Fuck those stupid templates. I had them. Gave those junks away. The intake is HUGE, the transfers are left un touched (I asked about this when I called them, said that's not really the important) and the exhaust only is raised about 1mm and made to wide so it just eats rings.
  4. Not directed to you at all. Your motor is still kicking ass. Nothing has come close to it yet. I will get both of our bikes on a dyno. And I will shoot you and justin the results. What you guys choose to do is up to you.
  5. You check your harness? See if it got burned up on the exhaust on the right side.
  6. which is true to an extent. But not what I wanted. I started this thread to let people know that I GOT EXACTLY WHAT I ASKED FOR. I don't care about the hp this bike is making. I care about the delivery. Which is where I wanted the attention. I saw a dyno chart. That still no one has provided a matched chart to compare to DDQ. And I knew immediately that was what I wanted. People are taking this thread way off track. Justin did my porting. Cost was great. Communication was great. Turn around was great. I'm a satisfied customer that will recommend him to anyone. That's why I started this thread. Not to start a pissing match.
  7. I've had an hjr motor. I would not go back to him. If you need to know why search. I've posted about it. It seems this is his cheerleader section and people will get butt if I explain why I was not a happy customer.

  9. Pfffffff impossible. Stock heads are 23. How can the compression be higher? Gonzo just went over that.
  10. Yeah, you think those will be safe for pump on a 4mil serval? Or should he just go back to the stock head? Make it a sleeper?
  11. Your right. What was I thinking. OP, something is wrong. Impossible for your set up to have that compression. You should get some 21 cc pro designs you'll be good.

  17. I would buy some good shocks and a arms and a decent roundhouse swingarm and carrier. A fast bike is pointless if it can't be handled worth a shit. Also there's more then just a crank and port. What pipes? Carbs? Reeds? Head? You need a whole package that compliments every other part. Like stated above trans and clutch need attention too. All this adds up fast if your jumping in with a all stock bike with almost no salvageable parts. So start with suspension and see how much faster you get.

  21. thats exactly what I wanted. If i wanted a high hp build, Paul turners wouldn't be my pipe choice. I want tq. Something that seems to be overlooked now a days for some reason. Like I said I'm not gonna put my girlfriend on a rocket that comes on like a switch while she's in the middle of Nj's 20 mile long whooped out trails. I wanted something she could ride. She's not the best at shifting at the right time to keep the bike in the power band. So I had justin BUIL A BIKE TO HER NEEDS. But wtf do I know. It's not a high hp dune machine up to HQ expectations.
