  1. I ride in sand pits in Nj. Usually sand trails and some hills to climb. Some wide open runs. I haven't missed a shift once. I went with stock cylinders for ease of convenience. If something happens it might be able to be bored.
  2. 4 mil stock cylinder. Trans mod. Get the shearer if you want. I'm running Dune Ported stockers Vf2 4 mil 35 pwk CPI Love my bike. Has power everywhere. If I beat it like I hate it 5th can pull the front end up. I can trail ride the thing all day too. A little much but manageable. Pump gas too.
  3. I like windy. He's helped me out and has offered me quality advise. I have no say in what's you 2 do. Now cam did the bottom end for my girls bike. But 99% of my advise is from him, Jeff at fast or sleeper06. Well I'm not changing my pods anytime soon but I'm just curious at what point they become ineffective Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. And I'm not saying that's wrong at all. I damn near call my builder anytime I do anything. Same guy you use. I run the filters he told me too. That was where me and my dad got to talking about 6-8 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I made the mistake of oiling my outerwears once. And yes me and my dad had a discussion about the effectiveness of 6-8" filters. And it seems the thinking is right
  6. Yeah. Also if your gonna do it get New eccentric New tab for the nut New pressure plate New inner hub New locking tab for hub nut New shift shaft modded Shift pro kit with stock spring
  7. No. I'm not gonna run the tiny pop up cones. I know those won't flow enough. But as far as 6-12" filters I can't see the 6" not being able to flow enough. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. So now we are getting somewhere. Me and my pops had this convo when I was putting the bigger K&N pods on. He said there's no way that my motor (or any really) can out flow the pod. And he brought up the point that it'll only become ineffective once the airflow causes the pod to collapse. Now I don't have a flow bench so I can't make any claims to actual stats or test. But I think the same thing.
  9. Not even remotely true. I have hipers front and rear with sand star. The whoops where I ride will tear wheels apart. I've seen so many people blow beads trying to keep the psi low and run the whoops. Sand stars hold up to the shitty inconsistent jersey sand. That is dirt sand rock mix.
  10. Sounds about right. This will replace everything needing attention and give you cushion for unseen expenses.
  11. Modded trans is every other dog removed and maybe drum work depending on who does it. Worth it. I have it in my bike and my girls bike. Never missed a shift
  12. 500 for the one with the motor out. 1000 for the one with the motor.
  13. Like on those filters tyler, if you put 6-8 inch would you notice? Why did you get those filters?
  14. This started in the live thread and I've had this discussion with a lot of people a lot of times.
  15. Back on topic, What did you make for the bike? And what else can you make?
  16. Yeah I found it on rmatv. Fuckers not cheap. But if I'm gonna be doing the rear shock there's no point in me half assing it and not changing everything.
  17. Fuck that. I'm 23 and haven't used Facebook in over 4 years. Shits dumb. If I wanna know what someone is doing I call them.
  18. Has anyone had any sucess doing this on there own? Any tips tricks hazards warnings
  19. Anyone rebuilding link with new bushings? Or know where to get some? Want to freshen mine up. Dog bone and link
  20. I'm in jersey. I'll give you 500. You can keep the shitty plastics and bald tires.
