K&N isn't just a name.
Go buy the knock off K&N. Then you can come asking why your cylinders look like the pistons were made of rocks.
There has been literally hundreds of test to discredit K&N. No one can. They have tested AEM,UNI,K&N, and a few others. K&N had the best filtration and flow hands down.
Had UNI pods. Wasn't a fan. The foam clogged so fast it was un real.
K&N knock offs are garbage. I have a set on the women's bike and they need to be cleaned and oiled 2x as much as my genuine K&N.
They still let dust through that mine don't.
With that being said, I think frank should voice his issues and let the community know his problems.
If a claim is made then let it be known.
Mine and RRL have both been known to tell the tale of our HJR issues. It's no secret.
Just because they are a favored sponsor doesn't mean you have to hide. It'll be tough and you'll get bashed(clearly) but if you had a legitimate problem then it should be out in the open.
Like I said, I give everyone a chance. There is always 2 sides to every story. Maybe frank can't tune a bike. Maybe cam made a mistake. We don't know. But to jump to conclusions is childish and silly.
Windy had voiced his side(which he didn't even have to since he had no part). Frank hasn't. Don't forget frank is the source. So this is between frank and cam. Windy and IPS have no part in this.
I've had a few beers and am rambling on, but I still don't like to see people bashing and jumping to conclusions. This is a place for people to voice opinions/ideas/facts no matter how dumb. We are just given the freedom to correct them and put them in there place like men.
I'm glad windy chimed in.
He really was dragged into this. This is a 2 sided story as any. We have no further input from frank.
So for windy to be the scape goat isn't fair.
I'll never be the one to find an excuse for anyone if there at fault. But I won't point fingers or lay blame with no proof.
What were the issues that had to be corrected.
You keep bringing them up, but never saying what they were.
I'm curious because I have a set of cylinders I want done for a 4 mil and I have 3 builders kicking around at the top of my list
I think the issue was he still has to do a initial tune when he got the motor. That's what I'm getting. Did you have to replace parts or fix issues? It sounded like that was done to?
John, this had me a smarter rider. I def look before I leap.
The movement of my hand hasn't really affected work. But all I do all day is work on small engines.
I will see how it goes for the next few months. I still wear my splint as much as possible but I feel like I'm reaching my limit and physically cant go any further. No pain, just a physical resistance.
Deadbeat, its good to hear your back at 100%. Like I said, I'm gonna tough it out for a few more months and then if no improvement then I'll begin my follow ups.
One year yesterday since the crash. One year today since the surgery.
I cant go back still and still hurts a bit at certain points. I'm gonna be going back to my therapist hopefully in a few weeks and see what's up. Worst case scenario is I have to go for another surgery. Best case, I suck it up for a few more months.
