There site is weird. They don't really up date it much. And it seems like it has lost a lot of info since the last time I was on it. There were great cad drawings of the cylinders and the measurements of almost every inch o the cylinder. I couldn't find them last time.

Don't force them. The spring can be a bit tricky in the slide with the cable holder and screw. It's not that bad tho

Which gauge? The little temp/hr ones? Or the vapor?

It should be stamped on there. Your not cutting these tho. Hook up a dial gauge and check for run out. If there's deep gouges, replace them. If there warped replace them. There fairly cheap to just be chucked in the scrap bin.

FFS. I've talked to john a few times on the phone. Nothing but helpful useful info from him. Is he always right? No. Is he always wrong? No. He has offered a lot of useful info to a lot of members. He said to up your pilots on vf4 before anyone had them. Now that's being said by members I can guarantee don't have vf4 but since they read it, they say it. Came first from john. Any info about them first came from him. I'm not a cheerleader for anyone, but I will say something when it needs to be said. There's something's I don't agree on with windy. So what. I'm not gonna hate bash him for it. There's been things I don't agree with that has been said by hundreds of members. I'm not gonna freak out because my over powered weed whacker motor was assembled/tuned/ridden different. This has spiraled completely out of control and people that have only been members for a few months are hating because it's what everyone else is doing.

Listen I have been to east coast, I have my own stories. But sprinkles is right. You are just assuming it isn't ported. Pull the intakes to confirm. EMAIL THEM. This way you can save everything and do what they say.
