  1. 99% of banshee frames I have seen have had that hoop bent out of shape. I've accepted it as almost a standard for any frame over 3 years old
  2. Sure what's you address I'll send then to you
  3. Mid 30s?! Fahrenheit or Celsius? If °f then that's way cold. Prob need to up jetting across the board. Pilot needle and main. Also, park the fucking thing. To cold to ride. If °C then you should be close. I'd look into a leak. Do a leak down regardless. For intake boots and gaskets that old I wouldn't be surprised if there all dry rotted and cracked. Also check if your choke tube is in place. May have knocked it out.
  4. Crazy idea, try to see where I'm going with this tho. Pull the stator cover off.
  5. do a compression check. The rings could be stuck if it sat for that long. Pull the carbs and clean out the jets. They can get clogged easily with old fuel. drain the tank, throw fresh gas in, slosh it around real good, drain that out. run gas through petcock and lines. make sure brakes aren't frozen, tires hold air. cables move free. Check coolant when bike is running and see if you can see it surge when you hit the throttle. there's more that can be done just don't half ass it and get to excited to go ride and miss stupid shit.
  6. that all sounds great. but what's the life on these? I don't mind replacing the cheap plastic guys. I would be annoyed if these bearings become another seasonal expense. Also what's to keep these from walking into the arm? these sound like a good idea, but the more I think about it the more headache it sounds like.
  7. BUMP!! I just saw the other set sold. Maybe these will go
  8. along these lines^^^ These pro and extreme ports, can I dune these? Or are these just for drag racing? I have a set of 64.00 stockers I want ported and a 4 mil crank. You have a dome set up for these for pump? And do I have to use your pipes?

  10. So how can some one reach you? You haven't posted a phone number, email adress, or website. Not even a Facebook. Only a twitter. If I was about to spend 500+ with you I'd want a pretty direct way to contact you.
  11. Good call. Maybe I'll give stellar a call tomorrow to see if they'd do a mx style. Worst case, I'll just get the tube and go over to my buddy's shop. But I'd like it done by a chassis guy. So anyone with any info speak up
  12. Did you try turning it off and turning it back on?
  13. Order the stainless Allen set from mattoon for like 30 bucks for both side covers and clutch cover gasket.
  14. Yeah the grab bar is a must

  17. I support garage mechanics. Obviously more legit ones then guys that claim there good. I also use the sponsors as much as possible, but it's cool to keep the money local and have a more personal connection. I'm still in contact with justin and Carl and talk to them frequently.
  18. I have 2 bikes ported by members. Surfrjag and sleeper06. I wouldn't hesitate to use either again. Sleeper (Carl) did my bike. 4 mil I'd think more dune port. The thing flat out rips. For 35pwk and CPI I can still hang in the trails pretty well. I know he's done a few mx trail bikes. He ported/assembled/tuned my motor. Also a few more bikes locally. Only bikes that have beat me were his motors or way bigger motors. Surf (justin) did my girls trail bike. I saw DDQ's dyno of the perfect curve. I wanted that. So I went with PT high and stock carb v force. I think this is more of what your looking for. The bike is so much fun! It rolls on super smooth and really manageable. Wheelies easily and pulls down low from almost a dead stop in 3rd. It's a sweet setup perfect for the trails and mx track.
