  1. I had a pair of triple rates non resi. Leaps and bounds better then stock. Not as good as my fox or axis but still good
  2. Is it that hard? I can find 5 powder coating places within 10 minutes of me. I know for a fact 2 of the 5 have had there fair share of Atv frames and know what to do. Powder coaters aren't hard to find and most have a clue to what to do
  3. wow. +8 on the timing? that's excessive.
  4. I recommend a builder that I always use that's local to me. But it seems like your just gonna ask him more questions and then not do anything with it or say he charges to much or just vanish into thin air. So for the sake of saving him a headache, what is your budget and what do you want to do? where are you located? How old are you?
  5. get in contact with a builder and let them know where you ride. what kind of mods you have, what your budget is. where are you located?
  6. Wouldn't the piston with no windows force the charge into the transfers better?
  7. Well if you want sleeper06 in Long Island ported, built and tuned my motor as well as a bunch of other bikes. He has the trans cut and my bike shifts like butter.
  8. I've heard mixed ways of doing things. I'd talk to your builder. I call my builder before any drastic change like that. He knows more then I do what my motor does and doesn't like.
  9. Hinson. This isn't the only one I've seen like this. Call redline, get proper parts.
  10. yeah a modded trans is a must. I have one in mine and my girlfriends. Butter. My next one is going to be done by camatv on here. his is supposed to be one of the best stock modded trans around. Trans need to be inspected very close for a bent shaft, worn gears, bad dogs, and smooth movement on all the bearings. I beat myself up for 2 months with a trans that the shaft had a bur where the gear slid.
  11. This. I bought a few of these from cam for more then a handful of Hinson backing plates. The bigger bolts are a must along with the HD plate and cushions. Drilling and tapping the basket isn't so bad as long as you have a clue or 2 kicking around.
  12. I can vouch for the run time. The pistons still have the oil grooves all the way around and it had a safe tune on it.
