Exactly why I left the automotive field. I was in a body shop for 5 years and at a dealership for another 6. I had a year break to go to school for automotive. I could feel it everyday that I started to hate my job and doing what I thought I could do for the rest of my life. I didn't want that. So I'm going to keep it as a hobby and side work. Now I just work on garden/light equipment for Home Depot. Not bad to keep tinkering. But hopefully making a career change soon.

I've had sand stars on my bike for a few years. There good. Not great. But not bad. My bike over powers them. And up in 5th 6th gear they kind of give out and don't do much at high speed. But they slide good and don't bend and crack easily. I've had them for 4 years on hard pack to sugar sand. They are just starting to split and show wear.

No. That would mean you have a loose timing plate. If you grab the flywheel and do that, you may have a loose/broken flywheel. You need to check the crank it's self. But see if something got in there or if your pick up moved. Keep it simple

I wouldn't rip anything apart. I'd just take the stator cover off.

yeah I told my buddy to chuck that key. he ordered the fmf o ring and spring kit, but I was surprised to not even see o rings. hopefully the listen to you.

I can barley hear a 2stroke as its coming up the trails. I hear the echoing thump of a 4 stroke from the second I get to the spot to when I leave with out every seeing one. That sound travels like thunder
