  1. Are you running standard length shocks?
  2. I think the sand stars are exactly what you want. They slide and spin a lot. My 4 mil over powers them easily. You say it's hard to steer? Or it steers to quick? What's going on with the rear? Is it turning or not?
  3. Bump for dunecat. Has all of the nicest parts.
  4. I like the ones with out the aluminum heel guards. I prefer nets. You can sink your heels in a little further
  5. That's it. Duncan will be your best bet. There the best looking, just don't hit anything or roll your bike end over end. It will bend.
  6. Dunecat just sold a bumper that looked pretty similar to a Sundahl. I forgot the brand.
  7. Wait. So you bought a bike from someone that didn't know what they were doing. You bought it and "fixed" it. But you don't know what jets are in it? And your mixture wasn't right? What exactly did YOU do?
  8. I've never had ebc in my bike. I'm going 2 years on a tusk in my girls. So for all I know you could be fine Call redline an tell him you want a HD backing plate bushings and bolts for the hinson. He'll know what to get you. And all the other stuff too
  9. I have a redline and a sleeper06 trans. Both work great. I have sleeper06 doing a N down pro mod for me. And maybe one day I'll have camatv here cut me one. It's not so much the trans, it's the shift components and clutch set up. This what I get for people when I do a bad shifting bike. I'm gonna assume your bone stock so I give a complete list. Work off of that. -Basket with HD bushing backing plate and bolts -pressure plate oem -hub oem -ceramic ball -pancake bearing -clutch (driveline or fast) -modded shift shaft -new eccentric -shift pro kit (people say don't use there spring, I did on my girls bike) -modded star (this is a preference type deal) -white plastic bushing thing on shift shaft -shift shaft spring -Locking folding washer things for eccentric and basket -jam nut for eccentric -actuator -cable -good perch and lever
  10. Cast pro x in the girls bike. Ported stock stroke that she'll rev the piss out of (as much as the pipes let her) And that I ride like I stole it. No problems after a year. Pistons on hand for the boring process and obviously guy knew it was for cast. Not a dealership that'll just bore to whatever size then go to the back and grab you Pistons.
  11. You're clearly ahead of the curve and know exactly what your doing. You'll be fine. Run it.
  12. Because. There's not gonna be pics either. Just a link to a news article about how the place burned down.
  13. I was talking about the spring in the shift pro kit. You want the modded shift shaft. You shouldn't have a problem with the shaft sliding off as long as your clutch cover is good and your shifter is on tight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. If the cost of the clutch basket is gonna make or break what you do, sell the bike.
  15. But why? Stock baskets are junk If the cost of a clutch basket is gonna make or break this sell the bike.
  16. Shift shaft Eccentric screw Locking tab behind nut Modded star Ez shift with roller. Use stock spring. Check actuator for pulled rivet. Stretched cable. Warped pressure plate. Warped inner hub. Grooved basket. Worn basket bushings. Pancake bearing. Ceramic ball.Warped steels. Worn fibers.
  17. That was in a stock stroke mx port. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Yup. So it'll compress the bushings, press against the backing plate and force it out. That will eventually blow the heads off the bolts. Catastrophic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Hinson spring loaded on a banshee none. In other machines there just fine. I just don't like hinsons crap bushings and backing plate. I caught the one on my girls bike just in time. I'll see if I can find a pic of it
  20. Do not get a Hinson basket. Get a redline or a mattoon billet anodized. They use a heavy duty bushing/backing plate/bolt. Hinson uses shit ones that warp and break and blow up your clutch and destroy shit. Seen it happen on more then a few.
