Looks like you are missing a shim or washer of some sort. Try adding one and see how it feels.

Save up a few extra bucks and go for the real PWK carbs.

It is probably the same as its always been. One big hill with a couple small dunes. BLM comes through every year and puts up log fences to try and block access to different areas and people tear the fences down throughout the year. Compared to other dune areas you can ride it is rather small and I got bored there pretty quick. The big hill wasn't a challenge on my old 4mil dune bike. Stock stroke bikes might have a hard time with it though. Probably more fun out on a boat or fishing, but that's just my opinion. If it were me, I would go the extra distance and just ride at KP or go down to Walden and ride. Out of the three, Seminoe was my least favorite.

If he ran it out of gas and heard a pop (going lean, or possibly top end going out) its time to drain coolant and pop the head off and inspect things. Take your plastics and gas tank off, drain coolant, and take the head off and take a look at everything. Sounds like you have already checked the easy stuff and didn't find any culprits there.

Tore engine down, went through everything. In the process of ordering parts here and there when I can afford them now. Also have a RZR that I am adding parts to, so budget is spread between a couple toys. Nothing really new to talk about. Got a +6 swingarm, chopped a lot of weight out of the frame, bled the brakes, ordered a new rear brake line, chain, sprockets, handle bars. Just been doing the cheap easy stuff so far.

Saw your ebay sale. How much without the carbs? Will the damage to the one dome be repaired prior to sale, or will another head / domes be provided?

Will it start and idle at all? If it will idle, while its running, spray some carb cleaner around your intake boots, cylinder base gasket, reeds, etc. Listen for a bog or rev while you are spraying. You could have an air leak. You can also try swapping plug caps side to side and see if the problem jumps to the other cylinder. Swap reeds, intake boots, etc. Pull the carbs off and give them a good cleaning just for safe measure. You can unplug your stator wires and check resistance across the different coils and make sure that is all within spec. Failing stators can cause some weird issues like that sometimes, so its worth checking and is pretty easy to do.

Need a good working 87-94 round plug CDI box and a good voltage regulator.

If its where the expansion chamber meets your silencer stinger, lots of companies sell those seals they are cheap. Just replace it.

Check your float height in the carbs, check bowl gasket on the carbs. On the leaking pipes, take the silencer off, and check the seal where the stinger tube meets the silencer. I do t remember what the T5s had for a seal there. Some have a press-fit, some have an oring, etc. Dont be afraid to tear into it,these things are pretty simple. Do you have stock air box or pod filters? Tors deleted on the stock carbs? Might be easy to chase down the leak or might be a pain depending on how much stock garbage is on the carbs.
