  1. the reason i said that is it is probably one of the most popular things to do to your shee. Im pretty sure a dealer wont have a kit, but any type of yamaha based performance shops in your area should have at least one. but yes it is the connection right above the left spark plug, and it has a triangular quick release fitting.
  2. go to rockymountain and get new one for like 10, shipped, then you can change back and forth
  3. does dg'g stuff really suck as bad as everyone says it does? everyone says there pipes blow and i personally dont have a taste for their aluminum products so what the deal, i still see it on like everyother shee i come across.
  4. tell me why you would use a precut, used chain. you can get a good one for like $60 and if taken care that will last you several years.
  5. YEAH, i F'in hate that noise!!!!! people look at me like ive got some broke ass shit and i couldnt figure out why. if that its ill be soo glad, cause i always thought it was my pipes.
  6. get a tors removal kit, duh. then you can put a shiny piece of billet where the parking break was and save like 8 pounds.
  7. push the portion of the line with the bubble in it so that is lower than the rest, the bubble should then go up through the petcock and into the tank since it will float. thatll make the bubble go away. no if it comes back you know ur drawing a slight vacuum type situation somewhere. that make sense to everyone else? cause thats what i do when i get a bubble in my lines, but i only do it cause it looks bad on the translucent lines.
  8. stock pipes, with trinity stage IV porting, v-force2's, uni w/airbox, 1000-1100ft, 85 degrees. got two already one said 220, other said 260, i went 260 mains stock pliots middle clip and its waaaaay fat, i think, any help/ suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanx
  9. if youve got a mig setup its really easy to put a triangular gusset in there and if done up right you will never ever have to bend it back or adjust it again.
  10. i believe you can run that plates out of a yamaha street bike, not an RZ but something much bigger that'll hold way more power. my friend does this when he fried his clutch and it grips like a mofo, but i dont remember what the bike is. anyone have a clue?
  11. you got me by 3 mph, but i was running ice studs. on a more serious note a guy i go to the dunes with has a lime green longtravel, im sure a few of you have seen it at LS. and one night he got wasted and drove it down his street, in the country, at about 100mph with his paddles on, on pavement. those were the slickest paddles ive seen in a while.
  12. 4 low should pull it right off of that LMFAO Women have a hard enough time with a standard transmission.....I can't imagine trying to explain a transfer case, then trying to explain that you can't just leave it engaged.....uhg ....my head hurts thinking about it. a girl i graduated high school with had an older brother who had a badass jeep. lifted lockers gears tires winch, all the cool shit. so he goes to college and gives it to her. well she goes fourwheelin then gets on the highway to go home and canty figure out why the r's are so high. well she left it in low range and roasted that motor. long story but kinda funny
  13. so do they have a trinity pro mx portjob? or is your sig talking baout something else, cause if they were im sure thatd make the offer much more sweet.
  14. you pussy, buy a welder and make it outta steel. its just sooo much cooler that way cause you get to play with fire!
  15. a new topend is only like $250 with pistons and bore work, if you remove the jugs your self. so id just do that. about the frame i dont know cause ive never registered any of my bikes.
  16. a banshee motor in a banshee? damn why didnt i think of that!
  17. go to your local steel yard and get a stick of 1 1/2in 13ga. steel. then get out your sawzall, welder, and measuring tape and get after itnot gonna need to be too sturdy if your only haulin a shee plus a stick is only like $12
  18. i dont know if id be doing wide open checks on a brand new motor just yet, that could be fatal to your rings and who knows what else, anyone else think so or am i wrong?
  19. pistons are $150, jug work around here is $55 a hole. and be sure that when you run the compression check that you kick it 3 or so times with the throttle wide open
  20. however it is a pain in the butt to remove it from the arm on the case, the carbs are in the way
  21. check it today, this oil might not have gotten through all of the passage ways and fully into the tranny. so thats why youd have the unusually high reading
  22. does any one know of a 5mm spacer that i can put between my jugs and cases so that i can run standard pistons with a long rod crank? some people tell me it mill mess up my port timing but i think it wont cause everything will be 5mm higher so it should even out right? Noss is that something you have or could make? nevermind vitos has one
  23. those look sweet, but who makes the uniball a-arms for a banshee
  24. with t-5's and 22cc domes id leave it stock for now. if your pullin up in the sand/dirt/whatever then scoot forward, thats free.
