if youre on a tight budget find some scrap steel, bust out the mig, an givver hell! then grind it so it looks OK, and after a coat of flat back, itll only look half jerry-rigged
in your sig it says this is just the start, so i guess it would really depend on where you are going to take this. if youre going towards dune/drag then cpi's are gods gift to the masses. i dont really know about the other kinds of pipes you use for trails and stuff so someone help me finish this.
same thing is happening to me and from what ive read im leaning towards it being the coil. motulmonsta said he knew of same place to get them for like $20 but i havent PMed him to ask yet. whatever it is keep us posted on it.
you can even send jim a PM on here at passionre. when i had a question for him he got back to me within a few hours and it wasnt even about anything he had done or was going to do for me.
motul is it possible for the coil to only fire on side until way into the powerband when the r's are high enough for the stator to be putting out a fiery hot current? cause it only idles and runs on one (the right) side until deep into the power. and where can i find a $20 coil, cause the local stealership wanted like $55.
is it true that you can only jump with up to a +4 swinger. i realize that a +10 is outrageous, but when im done with my motor im gonna have a hell of a time keepin that front end down since im so light. so would a +2 or +4 be ok for the dunes but not be too much to handle in the air?
anyone else think those look like toomey silencers? cause thay have the snap-rings and the tips arent turned down at all, and they are very skinny. not to mention they are on hangers. maybe im wrong about the brand, but they do not look factory
well doesnt that depend on what type of riding you do. for sand you go longer to keep the frontend down when traction is unquestionable with paddles. and from what i understand you go shorter for track cause it tightens the turning radius and somehow gets more power to the ground. anybody correct me if im wrong
since the yfz450 has no name everyone calls it "yfz." however the banshee has a name, duh, but is also shares that same prefix in its technical name yfz350h. also do a search sredish did a whole post this once.
